Village Shoppes at Salem — Attraction in Salem

It's a huge strip mall with a huge parking lot. There are two big stores one is a clothing and craft store and the other one is all you can eat place which is a closed right now. Did the owners of this place have done next to nothing to make this place palatable or attractive. It almost seems that it's up to the individual stores to take on this job.

There's plenty of parking and it's right off route 28 on the border of New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

It's a shame that so much territory has so little to offer when it could be the opposite but it's not.

I went with a companion who needed something from the fabric place. I've been passing that area for a long long time. And I think I will continue to pass the area.

There's a small vape shop there ran by a middle age Indian fellow. The very first thing I bought from this place was defective. I brought it back the next day, less than 24 hours later and the Indian fellow is acting like he didn't want to exchange it. He did take it back and gave me a new product but I made him open it and demonstrate it worked before I would except it. Just the fact he would hesitate at all to offer a refund or replacement one day after buying a defect sets of off alarms in my head. This was a relatively inexpensive piece, I can only imagine how he would act if it was something costing a few hundred bucks and I had to return it, no thank you!! Cost Plus World Market is an awesome store. They have the best greeting card selection. The items that the carry are unusual. If you are looking for The Game of Thrones Wine they carry it. They have some unusual bottles of wine & they have a beer section as well. They have a good selection with unusual foods from all over the world. I actually called to ask if the Torani Sugar Free flavoring was in sale. We use it in our coffee. I was told it was and I asked if they could hold 6 bottles of the Sugar Free Caramel for me, which they did. A staff member brought it out to my car and loaded it for me. I'm very greatful for that.
