During my hols in downtown SLC last week I walked all the way up there thanks to a last-minute recommendation from one of the staff at my hotel. Being from Belgium and much into the free mason symbolism I was thrilled to have a detailed look at this Masonic Temple. Though it was only from the outside as Temple was closed nor was a tour possible, I was more than pleased to absorb the whole architectural style with according symbols and reflect on history. Definately worth your while!

They were very kind to give us a tour. It was very interesting and they answered many of our questions. The building is historic, beautiful and unique. It does need some upkeep as some of its older furnishings, plaster, and paint are showing their age, but all in all a fantastic experience and a landmark for the city. I was very impressed with the Masons, their building, and what I learned about them. Pictures were taken by permission.

Gentlemen (brothers), to implore benefit of favour as magnanimity of fellowship with regard to company in high confidence; that, being support for security of power expedient to such interest as thy weapon, intervention negate deprivation circumventing neglect corollary from error which is mine alone: protect—investment in duly promise—me, brothers, and benefit is gain for mutual ascension alike.

Vie, again, insolent as intolerable, made existential threat (which cannot allow) on insult to thy station. He mocks (this flea) where super powers touch the sky. High brothers, I compel thou, make soon...

I really like this place. I thought it was really great venue for the golf night that we attended.

Unfortunately, I do have a movement disorder. Which means climbing up to the second story of the theater was really difficult for me.

There were no lights for the staircase. The staircase was really confusing. At certain parts of the staircases there were no rails to hold on to. I'm really lucky that my friend was there to help hold on to me so I didn't fall down.

If you have accessibility challenges like myself, I recommend coming early to figure out your...

I went durring the open house they were very open to answering questions. It was very busy all the volunteers were nice. I was glad to learn more as my great grandma was part of the eastern star, the womans organization. My favorite part was the stairs and the candles which hold a certain significance. They wouldnt talk about holy numbers or thier significance... looks like ill just have to join to find out. They said yearly dues were pretty cheap and all you have to do is believe in a...
