My Dad and I were extremely uncomfortable when we recently went to the annual Friends of the Library sale. I don’t know if the air conditioning was in the fritz or what, but both of us have health issues that worsen (critically) in the heat. I happened to run into many friends whom without any health issues, they, too, were so uncomfortable that if they hadn’t sat near the door for a few to catch a bit of warmish air from outside, they would’ve felt bad enough to warrant leaving the sale early without making a purchase b/c standing in line was just as uncomfortable. Like I said, it could’ve been the ac wasn’t working. I hope for the many San Angeloans, whom, like me & my dad, who attend the FOTL sale EVERY year, that the no ac was a one time thing & not something that might become a deal breaker in the years to come in terms of whether we continue supporting the library the best way we know how & have grown to very much look forward to every year for more years than I can remember right now off the top of my head. We both have made it a habit to tell our fellow book loving friends & family about this sale. I surely look forward to every year when I can spread the word about the next year’s sale, via a cool bookmark or two. I hope that our tradition of supporting the FOTL and thus, our longtime hometown of San Angelo in this manber(attending book sale & spreading word about it and how great it is each year) will be able to continue yearly as it has without fail. However, being that no ac was a huge factor that could definitely be cause health wise for not only the two of us, but also for a number of people we happened to see there, I’d hate for no ac to be the reason why we don’t...

This is a nice place, can't wait to go back for...
