Stango’s Pizza Parlor — Restaurant in San Angelo

This place is awesome! We have eaten here a few times, but today was special. The waiter brought my 2 younger daughters coloring books and even asked my 13 year old if she would like one also. The owner came over and told my littles if they colored a picture for him he would hang it uo and they would get a special gift. Of course they jumped at the opportunity. After handing the owner their artwork, he proceeded to dig for the perfect prizes for them. He also brought out a special gift for my oldest even though she didn't color a picture for him. This is the definiti on of customer service. Going above and beyond to make my family happy while at his establishment. Thank you for this special day and we will definitely be back. Not to mention the food is fabulous and the service is amazing! Oh and the music was on point for these 2 80s...

A true San Angelo staple! The comeback of Stango's is one that shows just how much community means to the people here. The Pizza roll sampler is amazing as an appetizer or a meal, with the Jalapeno Popper roll highlighted by fresh cut jalapenos and delicious bacon, drizzle a bit of ranch and you're golden. Not to be overshadowed, the pepperoni roll is handheld nostalgia in a new tax bracket of flavor. When you feel like having a quick Italian bite but aren't in the mood for a pizza or pasta, Stango's has you covered with the Sausage, Pepper, and Onions sandwich; Pairing beautifully spiced sausage with peppers and onions sauteed to perfection (if the title wasn't sufficient enough). We had such a wonderful time in this perfect little pizza parlor. ‘Family friendly’ makes me think of welcoming to little kids - and it was! My daughter colored a picture, had it hung up, and got a ‘prize’ that was much more like a gift. However, what stood out even more was this ‘family friendly’ place extended its hospitality to my teenagers - which is rare! Each boy was given a small envelope of foreign money. We spent time at the table trying to guess where the money was from and then looking it up to see who was right. It really added to the conversation for the evening and it was definitely a unique experience.
