My visit to La Sirena last night was … less than even “eh.” You walk in and the bartender just looks over and ignores you. This was our first visit so we didn’t know if we should seat ourselves or wait. Finally we went to a server and asked and they said we could seat ourselves.
Once sitting down it took almost 40 minutes to get 2 drinks … outrageous. They came out extremely strong like they doubled the liquor. The server was nice, but the bartenders kept talking to other guests about other businesses and guests negatively.
The food … the steak was so salty we couldn’t even eat it and the white sauce for chips has absolutely no flavor and was runny like water.
Oh yeah! Right around 7pm there is a horrific sewage smell that lingers around for about 30 minutes. Totally killed the atmosphere and vibe. Music is so loud I felt like I was screaming at the person I was with.
Needless to say, we were very disappointed and will not be returning to La Sirena until they make some serious changes...

We had MANY drinks (unfortunately I can't remember all of the name's now) but my favorite was the Mar-Tea-Ni, and my wife's favorite was the It's Golden. The staff also gave us a free lemon drop martini "to make up for the wait", but honestly? There was no wait. I didn't turn it down though! And I'm happy I didn't, because it was DELICIOUS!
The food was small but really good, especially the steak. My mouth is watering just thinking about it now. I think the goat cheese balls would be better paired with a crisp fruit, like a pear or apple, to cut the richness, but it was still good!
The bar area was a little loud, but the patio was perfect! They have huge umbrellas to protect from the sun, fans to keep you cool, and they brought out cute little lamps when the sun went down.
All together, highly recommend for...
Read moreI’ve been to La Sirena a few times and have never really been impressed. The music is always extremely loud, the bar tenders aren’t friendly, and it’s over priced. I finally decided to write a review after the bar tenders were rude to us at the St. Patrick’s day bar crawl. We were going to order drinks but there was no place to sit and the music was so loud we couldn’t have a conversation. We finally decided to just get our stamp and leave, but were repeatedly ignored by the bartenders. When someone finally came to help us, we were told they would not stamp our card until we both bought drinks. Out of the 8 or so other bars on the map, this was the only bar that made you buy a drink. What if they were our last stop and we were intoxicated? Would they still make us buy a drink? Or would we just not get our last stamp? Very irritated because they are clearly...
