This whole area is a mess. Not planned well. Challenging at best to navigate. Ok, places I've been to more than once, some more than 3x. Whole Foods: the store is awesome, the employees are great (so rare for rude Sam Antonio) but I think they'll get in trouble if they aren't great based on company policy & culture. They probably have the best location on this property. Easy to find, easy to get into the store. Sprint: Great products, great staff (helpful, nice, as swift as situations permit). If not, it's probably a combination of reasons, but not the norm. Except for the repair guy behind the glass he's even rude to his fellow employees. It's interesting how many people in SA are miserable that they are fortunate to have work, he's 1 of 'em. Eye Dr., wonderful but the staff, not so much. I think I'll actually miss him but not enough unless my next Dr.s staff is even worse. To be fair there is one big B I refuse to encounter again. Minny Mouse voice, Broom Hilda physique. Charming Charlie's: apparently this is a gathering location for people to socialize, get paid, w/ an occasional unavoidable interruption by paying customers. There's no smiling allowed here, btw. I felt a need to hurry up & leave b/c I KNEW I was not welcomed. Ulta, wow, hmm, I hope I don't find myself there again. I kept telling myself not to go back. Now I finally accomplished it. This company is apparently against hiring enough staff or can't get staff to show up. No makeup is worth waiting that long to purchase. None. But the staff despite their obvious misery is pretty nice. Nail salon: I can't recall the name of the nail place I went to but it's the one with more open hours. It was ok as nail salons go. I'd go back if I was in the area. Freddy's: I tried going. It's in an awkward spot, hard to get to. I wish they were situated in a different section. Maybe if situated differently they could add a drive thru. I could go on but I'm tired. Go only if this is really the only place you can get to, to shop. I go b/c of Sprint & Whole Foods & b/c Trader Joe's is across the street. If Trader Joe's was nowhere near here I'd probably never go to this area. It's unnecessary otherwise. Oh I heard Dough is good, that may be a...
Read moreSHOP AT YOUR OWN RISK! This place is a hot bed of criminal activity that thrives on the lack of cameras/ understaffed security. No one will tell you that because it will ruin the "luxury" reputation of this place.
This shopping center has no cameras and gangs of petty criminals.
The criminals of San Antonio know there are no cameras and thrive on this. These thugs sit in the cars, and in the stores working in teams to watch security and customers. They roam the parking lot breaking into vehicles and damaging customer's cars in the process. Don't learn the hard way like I did. When I reported the crime nobody was surprised and even explained how the criminals get away with the crime.
The Quarry wants the people of San Antonio to spend money shopping here which is supposed to be 'high end' but can't spend the money for more security and CAMERAS. The patrons protection is the last thing these people care about. No cameras in 2017 is unacceptable, and irresponsible. What happens when one of these thieves gets bold and attacks someone outright? It has probably already happened, but the reputation of this place is more important...facts be damned. If people knew how bad and frequent the crime was here they'd stop going. While I was reporting my issue another woman's purse was stolen with her car...
Read moreGreat shopping area. Clean. Good food. Coffee at this Starbucks isn't always exactly how it should be. Whole Foods is my favorite except for the management. And some of the holier than thou patrons who shop here. The supposed GM of Whole Foods has one of the worst business ethics/common sense that I've ever come across. Do you have an item that can ONLY be bought at their store but you have this item in bulk? Most people don't save receipts, especially on baby items. If you don't have a receipt but want to keep all of that money IN STORE when you return the clearly unused, clearly unopened, and not even close to expired items...you are SOL!!! They will not honor their own policy. And when you ask for the number to corporate offices, you are lied to straight to your face and given the number of that same incompetent woman...and she never even answers the phone. Call many times over the span of a month or two and THEN she'll call you back after you've gotten sufficiently annoyed enough to leave an irritated voicemail. Oh yes...and she'll basically black ball you from trying to take the items to the ONLY OTHER WHOLE FOODS IN ALL OF SA, by calling them and telling them not to honor your return. So all that money? Down the drain for you and into their...
