Mrs. Linda Rodriguez helped us out in choosing a bedroom set for my daughter. She provided us with excellent customer service. Come to find out that we are both from the Valley 956, we were in and out with great satisfaction. Edit: We ordered the bed set since July 3rd, we were told that it would be ready for pick up in 10 days. 10 days past I called and they told me it was taking longer. I called like 2 more times, one of those times I was told that it was marked off, because we had later bought a dresser and picked it up that same day. I even told them I understand the confusion, but wouldn’t it make sense that someone ordered a bed set and never got picked up. You have an extra unpicked up bed set laying around, investigate who was supposed to pick it up and call us. It had been almost 3 weeks and nothing from the bed set, it got to the point where my calls were being ignored, how do I know this? Well my number is not from the area code, the call would go thru and after several rings the call would just disconnect. So I told my husband to call he’s a manager and deals with this stuff all the time. He called from his cell phone same area code and no answer. He then decides to call from his store which is the same area code as Bel’s furniture and guess what??? They did answer, he told them what was going on and told them it was unacceptable because come to find out it was NEVER ordered!!!!! They had me on a loop telling me it was getting to the store late, when it was never even ordered. At this point my husband was mad for never ordering the bed set, when it was paid in full up front. The customer service lady Ms. Christine hanged up on my husband mid sentence. My husband then decided to head over to Bels Furniture to demand a solution for the bed set that was never ordered but paid for. By the time my husband got there store there was already a person waiting for him I believe it was a manager. Right away he told him are you here for Brenda’s account and he said yes they took him to an office. And within that same week we had the bed set with delivery included. The bed set was paid for on July 3rd and we didn’t receive it till July 24 way more than the 10 days. At some point my husband asked for a refund, they said they couldn’t offer a refund the person who paid for it had to be present to show an ID for refund, the bed set was a gift for our daughter from her grandpa who lives 4 hours away from us. He paid with a debit/credit card the money could have been returned to the card, who else would it go to. We were not asking for it in cash, and we just wanted what we paid for. At the end they did offer a solution, I’m just mad of how they acted 1. Bed set was never ordered 2. Our calls were being ignored 3. They declined a refund 4. The call was dropped at mid sentence. This store needs to provide customer service training and check their inventory see if its been ordered don’t give clients the run around. In all of this I know for a fact I will NOT be returning to this store and will NOT be recommending this store. I will be telling people of my experience so that they don’t go thru the same thing. I am however satisfied with Mrs Linda’s service we were in and out right away, she helped us get what we needed both times. I called the store to let them know what I got, they said they will exchenge them and they gave me the date of the exchange (March 2024), at that date nobody called or showed up, I spent one week calling them, they kept sending me back and fourt for ONE WEEK and after they decided to give another date(May 2024), so I had to wait two months for that date to arrive, I called them two days early to make sure that they will come, they said you are all set up you will received your furnitures in two days, and today they called me to tell me that they do not have the furniture, they had to change the exchange date again, I told the lady on the phone that I requested two days off because off the exchange so far and I am not paid, she said i have ETA for the end of the month we can not deliver them now, I cant recommand it for my enemy, I will never ever go back there. JUNE 2024 : I wrote this review back on May 2024, and here we are they missed the delivery they scheduled for june 17th, they called me on the 18th around 1 pm and they said that they going to deliver them today between 1-5pm, I told them that I was at work you should let me know in advance.. but i arranged to get home and meet them..so the came with wrong bad trail and damaged table worst then the one they gave me.. I called the upper management and told the full story and requested a refund, guess what they put me on hold and hang up, July 2024: I got approved for refund by the corporate office but the same story again the keep missing the pick up September 2024 : they scheduled the pick up for 09/02 and they changed it 09/09 without a notice I figured it out when I called them on 08/30.. they called me 09/06 to confirm the address, but as usual they missed the pick up again on 09/09 I did not receive any call for them.. I called the store around 5PM they said that I'm on the schedule and I have to wait until 11PM, they kept me awake until 11Pm but nobody showed and up no call DON'T BUY BAD QUALITY, BAD SERVICE.. Nov 24: we still did get our money back and they did not show up no call no show up, they called me 2 days later to schedule it again But I'm not doing this anymore.. I think they want me to give up on my money. I'm hiring a legal team it going to be between the court hands now. Read moreI placed an order online 09/01/24 with the estimated time of delivery of two week. My order was backed up because part of my order items were from Ashely Furniture. I don’t understand why the cooperate office advertises furniture from another furniture store. I never received my furniture in two weeks! It took me 20 calls to the San Antonio store and corporate store in Houston to get a solution about the shipment. I was promised for my items to be received by 10/19/2024, only to get a phone from cooperate to report I would only be getting parts of my order. Saturday 10/19/2024 rolls around and I only get a time frame for delivery one hour before my items were delivered. When the delivery guy arrived he only delivers my dinning room set and not the other items. I contacted the store and they promised my pending items were going to be delivered 10/23/2024. Today is 10/23/2024, I received my pending items but my bed set was a FULL and not a queen size which was the original item ordered. I contacted the store to report the concern and asked if I can exchange the bedroom set for something in-stock. When I arrived to the San Antonio office, I was informed a reported needed to be made in order to make an exchange. Keep in mind I made the purchase with time to process and allow days for shipping. I bought a new house and I have been sleeping in the mattress in the floor because of the lack of responsibility and customer service from Bells Furniture. I also received calls from the San Antonio store weeks before to report items were ready for pick but when I showed up, no items were found in the warehouse. I asked about the return policy and there’s a return fee, which is why I decided not to request a refund.
In conclusion, if you are looking for new furniture, please avoid shopping at Bell furniture. I have been respectful when I contact the customer service. I explain my situation every time I speak with the new representative. The prices are more affordable, but save yourself from endless phone calls to request updates about your order.
