We had visited the twin peaks on 103 sw loop 410 in san antonio tx and were made to wait 20+ minutes just to recieve a diet dr.pepper and my wife never got her water she asked for and we were there for 40 minutes or so and had an extremely rude waitress tell us "sigh alright what do you want" in a very rude manner without ever responding with an ok or ever asking if we would like to order for appetizers or food. We spoke with the manager who just in a way blew off what we were saying, the waitress then came back and we were extremely nice just wondering if we had done anything wrong after having been customers for 3+ years and why we were made to wait longer than anyone else and were always set in the same secluded corner every time, she then proceeded to tell us that the waitresses who we love to conversate with and have fun building rapport with and try to compliment and brighten their days were apparently saying we are extremely rude even though we extremely avoid any little bit of rudeness we could happen to accidentally put across as we only like to brighten peoples days and have them feel open to authentically and freely speak together as a group and feel heard and included, the waitress let us know that the waitresses including her say about our apparent rudeness, that we don't order enough food based on the visits we have when we order one or two of the higher price appetizers and meals for each one of us everytime and even dessert here and there, she also said that we "never tip" based from what she "experienced and what the other waitresses have experienced" when we tip anytime we can even if we barely have any money and we even tip up to the 20's or ask for cash apps for when we do recieve a little extra money to tip them outside of us visiting, and that for some reason she said "the final straw is when you were rude to Jaimie" which is one of our favourite waitresses as her and my wife are able to speak about things that help my wife open up and for even jaimie to jump into to speak about and we all have fun, laugh, and get excited. We do not see any of what she in a way of the air she gave of of "immediately blaming us" for us being the reason we are being excluded and treated differently, as we have not given any reason to be accused of any of what she stated or could have stated. We do not want anyone else to be treated this way at all for sure. We love the location but due to the recent happenings we sadly will bit be going back for a few months or longer. We were also not told anything about the issue of when buying drinks that there is no profit and that apparently the store is "paying us" in a way, to be ordering drinks and that they only make money if we order enough food to off balance the drinks cost. We are sad to say this was an extremely isolating experience that past few months we have gone and we do not wish anyone to be treated this way nor have we given any reason to be treated this way, we only want to see people happy as well because of how the world is these days and we try to bring some light. We will see in the far future how things may change and move from there. Our favourite location, just a very...
Read moreMy wife and I showed up right at opening, 11 a.m. on a Sunday, and there were already people there, which tells you a lot. We’ve been to this location before, and it has never disappointed. The food is always solid, and we’ve never had a bad experience.
We were seated immediately at a high-top table. TVs line every wall—honestly, there isn’t a bad seat in the place. It’s perfect if you’re trying to catch a game or just want some background buzz while you eat.
Our server, Brianna (or Bri), was great—super friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We ordered 12 wings and two salads. The wings come breaded or naked, bone-in or boneless. We always go for the classic buffalo, bone-in, and tastes like Frank’s RedHot with butter, but it’s done well and always hits the spot.
The salads were big and fresh. My wife had the shrimp Caesar with the dressing on the side. The shrimp were large, grilled perfectly, and well-seasoned. I had the steak salad with a honey jalapeño vinaigrette. You can choose how you want the steak cooked. I asked for medium rare and it came out just right. Probably around 4–5 oz. of steak, which is a solid portion for a salad.
One thing that stood out was Bri’s attention to detail. She brought us waters to go and added lemon slices to the cups—not because we asked, but because she noticed us adding lemon to our water during the meal. That kind of thoughtfulness goes a long way.
Bottom line: food’s great, service is sharp, and the vibe is laid-back but clean and well-run. We’ll...
Read moreMy husband & I wanted to get out to watch the Texans games! Its been years since Ive been to twin peaks! He was surprised I wanted to go there lol! A friend had recommended the ice cold draft beer from twin peaks. I love my modelo draft Ice cold & that’s exactly what I got! It was Saturday & it was packed we lucked out and people made room for us at the bar!! The wait was over an hour for a table.. so if you want to catch your game & relax I recommend you get a seat an hour before your game & camp out! The Wings & Fries were Top notch!! Served hot & perfectly timed!! I thought the service was great! Hostess was friendly & we got served right away @ the Bar! Everyone was working efficiently & I noticed the mangers were involved helping out & staying on top of things to keep up with the busy beat! I felt the bartenders pay attention to empty drink glasses and than will check on you which I loved! My only reason for my 4 star service was I really think if the staff rallied together to focus on smiling & and while working together as a team showing off their willingness to be kind & carry one another throughout providing service with high energy positive & encouraging one another to get through the hard work (sportsmanship).. that would really make this place exceptional & stand out! We...
