I don't believe for one second Best Buy cares what I think but who knows. I went online to order a Samsung phone and the website stated it was available in my local store. I went to the store to make my purchase to find out they did not have it in stock. I had to order the phone and ship it to my home. I told the salesperson I had a phone to trade in but I had to move data and set up the phone since it is a work phone and needs special software. I brought the old phone back to the store to process the trade in and I was shocked that the trade in went from $600 down to $57 dollars. The phone has a cracked screen but the website allows the trade. Store MOD says it cannot be done in the store since the screen is broken. Save yourself the trip and order the item online. I spent an hour pleading my case the first time I was in the store and they opened a "ticket" to figure out why the store could not process the trade in. I returned a week later with screen shots of the website allowing the transaction but the store insisted it cannot be done. Also, the promotions change on a whim and the price you see today will be different tomorrow and again the next day. This is why I won't shop at Best Buy in the future. I wasted 2 hours of my life in the store and another hour chatting with customer service for nothing. Three hours I will never get back, not to mention the $600 trade in because the purchase in the store was not done properly. Definitely a bait and switch to maximize profits. On another note, no-one in the store really knows how things work but that's just my humble opinion. Best Buy on 1604 San Antonio, TX.

I recently visited Best Buy to look at a camera I was interested in purchasing. The model I wanted wasn’t available brand new at that location, but the associate informed me there was an open-box version available in the store for an $800 discount. When I asked if I could see it, he flat out told me there was “no way” he would let me view it because it was a $3,000 item. When I asked if he was insinuating that I might steal it, he said he had “seen items stolen before.” This response was not only unprofessional but deeply offensive. I felt singled out and unfairly judged, especially since Best Buy’s own policy encourages customers to visit stores and inspect open-box items prior to purchase. Being denied the chance to view a product that was sitting in the same location, under the guise of “security concerns,” felt discriminatory and unacceptable. This experience left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome. For a company that emphasizes customer trust and experience, this interaction was the opposite. I truly hope Best Buy takes this matter seriously and ensures customers are treated fairly, with respect and without bias.

I just walked in to look wanted to see the TV selection there and wasn’t really looking to buy. Although after talking to Arun and helping me explain the different types of TVs I felt confident with going ahead and purchasing one, finally after waiting a few years for a new smart TV. Arun really made the purchase simple, clearly explained the products and also I wanted to get it delivered and setup and he went thru that with me also and explained that as well. He did an excellent job of helping me make the right choice according to my concerns and price range. I can’t wait to get my new LG TV and enjoy watching it along with the new surround sound system! Arun and all the team there at Best Buy were all so friendly and helpful I really enjoyed the experience since I really don’t shop at Best Buy a whole lot it sure was worth the drive from the south part of San Antonio. Thanks Arun/Best Buy!

After having spent more than $20K dollars on high end appliances- including Thermador, Monogram and zephyr. Not to mention close to $10K in media equipment, we find ourselves more than dissatisfied with Best Buy. We are tech members and have over the years spent thousands of dollars with them. After waiting a lengthy period of time to receive our appliances, we had to keep them in storage. Then Bestbuy requested we get them out of their storage but then were unable to install upon delivery of the merchandise- therefore we had to hire another company to perform the installation. After poor installation, we reached out to Best Buy and paid for the installation package only to find out that they were not willing to install the appliances because another company had already installed. Mind you, the only reason we went with another company is because BestBuy could not install upon delivery!!!! So, now although we paid for the installation fee again- they refused to let the geek squad (subcontracted company) work on our appliances. The geek squad (EB1 appliances installation company) was more than willing to install the appliances but they were simply denied by BESTBUY Corporate. This is absolutely ridiculous!!!! Are you kidding me- we spared no expense purchasing our appliances and now because they were not initially installed by them they refuse to install them and correct the installation issues. Additionally, we bought a wine cooler, which also was delivered defective- missing a part that did not allow it to cool and had a constant alarm!!! I sat there as the geek squad communicated with corporate to inform them the cooler was literally, new and not functional and yet again, Best Buy told the nice gentleman I had to contact the manufacturer- what level of customer service are they providing?!! If I had to do it again, I would never buy another thing from this company. My family and friends have always been loyal members to Best Buy and the least I expected as a customer is to curtesy and positive customer service having spent so much money- Nope not the case. Do your self a favor and be careful buying anything from Best Buy. If you have the opportunity go and buy your appliances from reputable companies such as Lowe’s, Cosco, or even HomeDepot. I’m sure you will receive better service there and your money spent will be worth it…..by the way, after multiple attempts to achieve resolution and multiple hours of waiting and disconnection. The representative states she cannot provide me her last name nor representative number…. To just ask for Linda in the Philippines-omg!! That explains why I had to explain my situation 1,000 time and have yet to...

Best Buy is Best Buy, right? So what's to review?

Well, let me just say that I appreciate that this location actually has higher end products in stock. I had to leave my other store on Loop 410 near San Pedro to go to this store to pick up a $119 Bluetooth hub to duplicate signal to two Bluetooth speakers simultaneously. Why not just get a bigger Bluetooth speaker you ask? Well I did that also! I was wanting to add two larger Bluetooth speakers to an existing rack system for my daughter's dance. This location didn't just have the HUB in stock, they also had their larger Bluetooth speakers hooked up and turned in so I could try them out. I was able to test the largest JBL against the largest Sony against the largest LG, ALL in stock! I was asked if I needed help only once but nobody balked when I went back and forth between all of the options at their highest volumes, which I tested until I was satisfied that I had the best ones for the dance. Other locations sometimes limit my ability to test equipment for the intended purposes. Not this location. I ended up buying the $400 Samsung MX T70 specifically because it sounded the best at fill volume with no clipping and great clarity in every range. And, of course, they actually had it in stock. Nothing frustrates me more that taking the time to make my selection and then not being able to take the darn thing home with me right then. If I wanted to order online for delivery I wouldn't have gone to the store location in person! And I also want to be able to hear them with my own ears before purchasing a pair of good Bluetooth speakers. If I wanted to watch a demo on my phone, again, I would but have come into the store! So kudos to everyone at this location for actually having inventory and for treating me like a valuable customer instead of like someone just messing with the displays. Living near Hildebrand I can tell you from now on I'm going to just jump on 281 and head straight to the legacy oaks location the next time I need a good piece of electronics!!! Does this location do stereo install also? I need a great system for a truck I'm giving my son to take to college. I'll have to swing by to give them a test and see if you have good options for Navigation, connectivity, and cameras....

I purchased a washing machine, dryer, dryer pedestal and washing machine washer pedestal. The washing machine washer pedestal was on back order, it had do be delivered a month later, no big deal. I scheduled my delivery for the afternoon evening b/c I work and it is the only time I am home and able to accept a weekday delivery. The day of the delivery they tried to make delivery at 11AM. When I called them back they told me they had no notes that I work and will not be home until the afternoon. After haggling whit the person, the notes all of a sudden appeared. Due to working out of town I rescheduled the delivery of the washing machine washer pedestal for when I would be home. They attempted to make the delivery on the original scheduled day. When I called they told me they had no notes of it being rescheduled, after haggling with them the notes all of a sudden appeared that the delivery date had been rescheduled. On the delivery day in which I had to block off 4 hours of my day, they no called no showed. Again I had to haggle to have them admit the delivery was suppose to have come that day. The delivery had to be rescheduled again and I had to set aside 4 hours of another day. This time the delivery truck showed up, but did not have the washing machine washer pedestal. After calling again I was told that they did not know where the item was and they had lost it and I would have to set aside 4 more hours of my time for a third day. I was told that they would figure out some way to compensate me for my time and call me back with in the hour. They did not call me back that day. When I called they did not know what I was talking about and still had no idea where the machine was and this time made no effort for to make things right, they showed no care or concern about finding my item or making up for their mistakes, instead continuing to make me pay for their mistakes. I was so tired of the lack of customer service and incompetence I had everything returned and the item that was never delivered and lost canceled. It has been two weeks and I am still having to haggle to have my return processed and credited back to me. I will never purchase anything from this best buy that I can not carry out of the store and has to...
