Read moreThis area is always changing. Businesses come and go. New places there are welcome, however I really wish that the main staple there, the HEB would offer more products to it's Southside customer. When I compare this HEB to one just a few miles north, the choices in goods is insulting. For example, one year during mother's day while most HEB stores offered beautiful bouquets of florals/ roses and baskets of wines paired with/chocolate or cheeses, this store literally had a good selection of moomoos! Come on. They can do better than that. The deli no longer has fresh fruit waters known as aquas frescas. The items are limited in this deli compared to other HEBs. Read moreI have enjoyed the diversity of this store since I discovered it over 6 years ago. It is almost as nice as the Alon market and I know over time, as gentrification takes over it will be a good store. The grade of your parking lot is steep enough that elderly, people with walkers, and wheelchair users have a difficult time walking up to the store. And summer time weather with ZERO shade makes it worse. You can have a tree lined shaded paved walkway. Or put up solar panels under a carport style walkway and use the energy from those solar panels to light the path when it is dark outside. Your popular ego is starting to override your good old fashioned horse sense and the look is not good. Your "cult" status is starting to nudge away the ADA accessible conditions and it is a discriminatory and abelist look that...
