It's been a while since my last review, that's because we really don't get out as much as we used to. I saw a post about this location and it looked like it would be good, but it turned out to be the opposite. We ordered cheese enchiladas and a chile relleno plate. They served us chips and salsa while we waited as well. We had two teas that was brought out pretty quick and tasted great. When our food arrived it looked good, but we had issues with how salty it tasted. The other issue was with both my relleno and one of the enchiladas, they were stuck hard to the plates and tough. This happens when you microwave food too long, which is what they did.
The one thing I did like was the red salsa they had, tasted good but the other salsa was a brown type of salsa which was so spicy I lost all taste for a while. Some like it that way I guess, just not me lol. The service there was great, they were very friendly. I will say for the price we paid, the food should have been way better prepared. Because of the microwaving of the food alone, I would easily drop it down to 2.5 stars. The plates are plastic so you know it's not the plates being hot and put into an oven to finish heating. I do not recommend this location at all, I'd rather had driven out to Nopalitos off of 410 (Which I highly...

La Siberia de Monterrey, the newest addition to McCreless Corner Shopping Center, offers a taste of Mexico with a modern twist. While the restaurant is still finding its footing, there's a lot to be excited about.
My recent weekday dinner visit was a mixed bag. The friendly waiter was a highlight, but the lack of iced tea (a staple in any restaurants) was a disappointment. The initial order of Vampiros tostadas was also unavailable, highlighting some early menu challenges.
However, the third time was the charm with the pork belly chicharrones. These crispy, flavorful bites were a delight, perfectly complemented by the creamy guacamole, tangy red onions, and a pico de gallo that could have used a bit more zest.
While the initial hiccups are understandable for a new establishment, it's clear that La Siberia de Monterrey has the potential to be a great addition to the neighborhood. The food, when available, is delicious, and the service is friendly. With a few tweaks to the menu and a bit more consistency, this could become a go-to spot for authentic Mexican flavors.
Overall: 3 out of 5 stars. I'll definitely give La Siberia another try, but I'll be in no rush to...
Read moreI ordered 2 bean & cheese tacos togo. The short, heavy-set, middle aged woman disappeared without so much as giving me a menu. A middled aged man w a limp soon came to the front to take my order. He quoted $8.64 for 2 bean & cheese. I was shocked, he claimed they were pricey after I asked.
I only wanted to spend $5 or less, so I asked if they were large tacos, he said, no. I looked suspiciously at him, but didn't want to argue, so I just asked for one, I didn't have time to wait for the manager. He claimed one was $4.31, so I gave him $5. He returned w one small mild flavored bean & cheese taco, claiming, again that the food was pricey, & he had not even given me my change or a receipt. I was bothered by there dishonesty & although closeby, I didn't have time to go somewhere else.
This will be my first & last time at this restaurant. I don't mind if the atmosphere isn't the best, but service, honesty & tasty food can make a...
