Poltergeist — Attraction in San Antonio

Poltergeist is laid out in a rare and wonderful “spaghetti bowl” design. The track is literally draped and piled on top of itself with such dense complexity you won’t believe they can fit a roller coaster train through there, let alone one moving at 60 mph—but Poltergeist will make a believer out of you.

Without any pauses or braking, you’ll blast through a cobra roll, a sidewinder loop, a downward spiral, a corkscrew, and countless swift reversals in between. Spaghetti bowl is right—this course is a mouthful. In fact, it’s the most complex roadmap you’ll find in all of Six Flags. But don’t let that spook you, because this is a must-ride for any serious roller...

This is a very fun launch coaster! This coaster looks absolutely wild from off ride with it's twisted mess of track. The ride experience is great too. The launch has a good kick at the start, and the first 3 inversions are pretty intense. After those inversions you will find yourself at the top of the coaster going pretty slow. The ride slowly regains all of its speed as it goes further down and the last inversion is a very whippy corkscrew at the end. It is a very weird ride, but one of the better coasters in the park. The theming for this ride is awesome too. It is easily the best themed coaster at any six flags park. It all happens in the que and it is very impressive. You have to check this ride out...

I went around two days ago to this park and this was BY FAR my favorite ride there. The beginning of the ride where you accelerate really fast out of the area and into the track is insanely fun. The twists and turns and loops were amazing. I thought i'd be scared of this one because of the inversions and loops and all that, but no! IT WAS AMAZING. I would 100% recommend to anyone thinking of going here! It was so awesome, my friends and i rode it twice in a row! The inside area you go into was pretty cool, also pretty scary haha. But yeah, DEFINITELY would recommend...
