White Water Bay — Attraction in San Antonio

The water in all the rides and the The white water canyon was so super dirty , even right at opening. I guess they don’t clean .

If that’s not bad enough , I can’t believe they made us take off our water shoes and then go ALL THE WAY BACK UP AFTERWARDS, walking BAREFOOT IN THIS HOT WEATHER ON BURNING HOT CEMENT! My kids burned their feet ! That’s ridiculous. What’s the point of water shoes then?

We got burgers at Cactus Jacks and an employee named Yiaria R was working the cash register and she was super rude. She made a mad face when I asked for 5 bacon cheeseburgers , one plain and dry . Then I asked if I could get the lettuce and tomatoes on the side she said ‘no that’s a salad ‘ I told her it wasn’t . She said she isn’t allowed to make special request so I said ok then put the lettuce and tomato she said ‘no I can’t ‘ and she didn’t . I asked her why and she just walked away .

A few minutes later she came back and she gave me receipt and as I grabbed it, it finished tearing off register cos she she hadn’t torn it off . She snaps at me and says ‘Next time don’t tear off receipt.’ Geez talk about attitude. Will not be...

We have season passes to everything in San Antonio so we visit a lot of parks often. I have to say that the staff here is definitely the most pleasant of all the parks - and I’m talking about the teenagers to young 20 something’s. At the water park, they often have to approach parents to get their kids to wear life jackets (or get them in the right size life jackets) and from what I’ve personally experienced and witnessed they have always been courteous and professional. That is a novel skill that is seldom seen in today’s youth and they are kicking butt at it. I wanted to recognize them and what an amazing job they are doing, because I know how uncomfortable it can be to just be doing your job and have older adults talk down to you - but the young staff here have great attitudes and simultaneously are good at their jobs of keeping kids safe....

Great water park but not without some major downsides. One being absolutely everything costs money, even finding a place to sit down costs money.
