I am beyond frustrated and unappreciated by the visit me and my wife had saturday night here at this location. We are from new braunfels and traveled 50 minutes just to come enjoy a nice dinner here at this location because we love la cantera area. When we got there, there was a wait which we expected. We arrived at 9:15pm and waited our expected time to be seated and we got to our table at 9:41 pm. We ordered our food right away as we had chose our meal from the menu while we waited for our table. We ordered a spinach dip as the appetizer and ordered one entree to share which was the petite filet mignon. It took 30 minutes for our entree to come out which wasnt too big of a deal for us because we were enjoying our time with our appetizer. When our entree came out, our steak was well done when we ordered a medium. Server anthony or andrew, cant remember exactly, apologized and took it back right away and sent manager karina over to our table to apologize as well. She stated that our entree was being remade and was priority in the kitchen and we were understanding. We waited another 30 minutes for that entree and still had not received our remake. By then me and my wife were so tired of sitting there, we decided we should leave . Right when we were about to leave the server brought our food. We explained that we were too tired and just wanted to go home. At this point it was 10:55pm. He apologized again and went to get karina the manager again. I let karina know we were exhausted and just wanted to go home but also explained to her how disappointed we were that we had been there for so long and on top of that was very disappointed that because we hadnt eaten or had much of a bill that my $10 reward on my wifes account and her free slice of pie reward were expiring on the 30th of this month which was also another big reason for our visit. She was so rude and stated that because she was taking off our food that my wifes reward wasnt wasted due to the fact of not having to pay for our meal. I asked her if she could please issue us a gift card for that $10 reward along with the amount for a free pie so that we could come back another time and still be able to use it. She said unfortunately she could not because she was removing our entree from the bill. She said that instead she could have our food that we had been waiting for , for over an hour , can be boxed up and so that we could be on our way. She did not want to do anything for us after all the time we had taken out of our night to get there, to wait for a table, and to have not been able to eat. She was so very rude to us and did not care what so ever or even appreciate the fact of how patient we had been. Our server kept apologizing for her behavior as we had vented to him of how horrible she was. We did not get sent with our food home but we did leave our server a $10 tip for his time and let him know we appreciated how kind he was to us. Even after karina took our food back to the kitchen, she still sent us on our way and did nothing for us. We were not once rude to her, we kindly asked for some sort of compensation for time so that we could come back and hopefully enjoy a hot meal and she refused. I let her know that i would be contacting corporate about her and the fact of how we were treated so rudely and so under appreciated, her response was “okay, sorry you feel that way” she then continued to ask me if there was anything she could do as i asked for the corporate number and i responded to her saying that i had already tried to ask her and she denied us. I was so beyond frustrated because she didnt care about us at all . We left hungry and exhausted with only a “have a good night” exit goodbye from her. I hope she never treats other people like this and i dont know if i could ever dine here again with her managing if this is how she is going to treat returning loyal guests. Read moreCheesecake factory at Northstar has always been amazing, after years without a fix due to moving I gave this one a shot for my birthday and was seriously let down. I called days early to ask about ordering my cake in advance and was told it wasn't necessary, then put on hold for over 10 mins waiting for someone to help. When the day of finally rolled around I placed the order already uneasy that I had to wait, Lo and behold, my cheesecake was 'out of stock' and thus, not delivered. I instead received a celebration cheesecake that was half smashed and ruined. The cake was also rock solid on receipt so the damage could not have been done in transit, it was clearly done while soft and then refrozen. When I called I hadn't even seen the cake myself I only knew it was the wrong flavor so I only tried to address my missing cake, the girl who answered the phone was still incredibly rude and did nothing for me. I asked her why nobody at least reached out and she said "we tried." I let her know I had no missed calls, & my driver had been in contact with me consistently the entire time & was also given no updates, she dismissed this and said "yeah we don't contact you directly it's a process" When I asked what other flavors were available/what else I could do since I was left with only a cheesecake that I don't even like she said, without wasting a single second to look, "we pretty much only have original in stock" I replied that the cake I was sent was a celebration, to which she cut me off to say "that was one of the last ones." & nothing else. I was offered absolutely no options at all, and not even an apology or an ounce of sincerity. Mind you my original order was a white chocolate raspberry, so a traditional strawberry would have at least been a close/adequate option, they simply didn't give a damn enough to try.
At the end of the day I paid 40$ for a disgusting cheesecake that wasn't kept at the right temperature & was already partially ruined on receipt, I could've gotten better from frozen HEB cheesecake factory. Read moreWhen my husband and I arrived we let the hostess know we were a party of two, she let us know the wait and agreed to wait. Hostess was not smiling or friendly at all, gave her my phone number, said it clearly and loudly for her to hear. Husband and I went walking around and we went back after about 35min, we stood around and we never got a text. After an hour I went up and asked a different hostess about wait time, she stated we were texted but no one showed, she repeated the number, the first hostess put down the first digit wrong. Husband was upset and knew the girl should have at least repeated the number but he knew she looked like she didn’t want to be there. They sat us right away because they knew there was a screw up. Our server was awesome and apologized for the hostess, we told her it’s not her fault. The night was going well until I overheard a party of ten showing up next to us. I noticed the table was too close to us and there was nothing plenty of room on the other side, so I asked the bus boy of the tables could be moved down, he said of course. The hostess (tall girl with curly hair) told the guy “the tables need to go together” he told her what I asked, as I was looking straight at the girl she decided to roll her eyes as she was looking at the guy. I asked her “is that ok?” She said yes with a smile and very fake. I got upset and told her oh because you rolled your eyes, our server noticed I was upset and tried to handle the situation, I told her we’ve already had a bad experience with a hostess, I don’t need another one. Server said ok and did very well with the situation. Told the server the situation will not affect her tip because none of it is her fault. Was going to speak to the manager but my husband and I were having our first date night in about 6 months and I didn’t want to extend the situation.
