Texas Media Experts — Attraction in San Antonio

I just purchased a Vizio 65" inch 4k TV i wanted mounted above my fireplace in our small home. As this was my first time getting TV wall mounting services, I researched and read reviews of many local businesses and requested quotes. I heard back the same day and after sending in a few pictures, Texas Media Experts gave me a much better and fair quote than the other guys. Devon the owner is absolutely professional, courteous, and such an overall nice guy! He was so respectful of our home, wearing a mask during this pandemic, put booties(shoe coverings) on everytime he entered our home, cleaned, vacuumed the area he worked on, and wiped down our wall mounted tv like new! Since we are renting our home, I didn't want to have the wires behind the wall so Devon did a fantastic job concealing the power cable along the side with a concealer i bought from Amazon. He even went above and beyond by fixing an ugly dent on our wall he noticed...for free! I was a bit nervous at first because he came by himself but Devon is always well prepared! He has his own special jack/lift to elevate the tv for mounting. The wall mount package i had was missing a screw! Thank God Devon had a collection of screws in his bag from previous jobs that fit just right. I was so pleased with his above and beyond service, I insisted on giving him an extra gratuity! So coming from someone who's very careful choosing services, please be rest assured that Devon and the Texas Media Experts will do the best job ever mounting your TV!...

I contacted Devon and Steve at Texas Media Experts after finally completing all of my audio & video equipment purchases for the main room in my home. I needed expert installation and calibration for this equipment that will be used for 50/50 movies & music (5.2.4) with separates and a new 85” TV on wall installation.

I had talked to a few companies, but Devon seemed to have the only practical style approach and never tried to sell me any audiophile “snake oil” solutions that you wouldn’t be able to hear the difference from.

He and Steve worked tirelessly on this project from 10AM until almost 11PM, making sure everything for this set up was just right. Did I mention that the attic temperature for the atmos installations must have been 120 degrees plus that day?! Those speakers are perfectly aligned.

Unfortunately, one of the tower speakers was defective, which they were able to rule out all other causes on a follow up visit, and I’m now in touch with the manufacturer to remedy that. I’ll follow up with the Devon and Steve for a full calibration of the system when that speaker is resolved.

I hired Texas Media Experts to install my home network in Jan 2025. This included Wifi throughout the house, live Ethernet ports/jacks in three rooms, and relocating the existing gateway from the living room to a hallway closet. I was able to quickly setup a free consultation with Devon, who stopped by and assessed the job after listening to my home networking needs. I was then sent an itemized quote that included labor, service visit, materials, and equipment costs. Install was scheduled within a week from my decision to hire.

The installation went well and I was very pleased with the professionalism and work rate of Amadeus and Kalvin, the two installers. They arrived in the morning and were able to complete the work in ~4.5 hr, answered all of my questions, and at the end of the installation made sure the network was configured so that all devices could easily access Wifi.
