One of the best tidepoolong beaches around! Obviously best on a low tide, but also still amazing views on higher tides as well. A great place for kids, just be cautious. The rocks are slippery when wet! The reef is a spur and groove type with higher sections of rock separated by channels. In these channels, you will often find many different kinds of small fish, like gobies and garabaldi, and crustaceans, including small crabs and lobsters. Snorkeling is possible here only on days with small swells as the currents and rocks make it a bit tricky unless you are familiar with the area. As a final note, the sunsets here are awesome! I went barefoot and bruised the heck out of the bottoms of my feet on the rock surfaces, but you can't safely navigate them in flipflops like what I was equipped with.
