Fun place to have an adventure in nature. Walking trails and benches. It has 2 separate sides of the preserve which is kind of cool. We really only explored the south side because we got there a bit later and the sun was setting on us after walking awhile. The boys had lots of fun throwing rocks into the puddles and I enjoyed the peace and quiet. Bus stops right on the street on either side of the Slough makes it really convenient getting there. Read moreIts a nice effort to protect nature in a busy residential area, but just kinda misses. Too much traffic is near, too many views of the apartments and houses near. Trash, vagrants... Sorry to digress, but san Diego needs to figure out what to do with its homeless. Can we give these people money to clean the streets? They live on the streets but many of them are also the biggest polluters......
