This is a great dog park! They have easy to access separate areas for small and large dogs! It's so much fun to watch all the dogs play and have fun together! They have nice big areas for them to run and plenty of places for you to sit and watch! It's right off the 8 and that means you don't have to go super deep into OB and deal with the traffic. I love seeing the faces of the dogs pulling into this place, you can tell they know where they are going and are so excited! We recently took a friends 30 lb frenchy into the small and large dog pens due to her being right on the line and she had a great time! This was her first time at a place like this and she was a little timid at first but, plenty of dogs came up to introduce her into the pack! She ran around a little and had some fun and probably slept great that night! Most of the time you don't see many problems at the park between pets but, just make sure to stay aware of where you're pet is, what they are doing and what else is going around! Better...
Read morePark is great, with friendly dog owners. However there are some "usual" trouble makers that return after people have gotten upset with them. By upset, I mean, their dogs were attack by the "usuals" dog/dogs. And its consistent. The owners tend not to jump in to clear the situation. My dog has come out with a bloody leg because these people choose to come here after multiple incidents and not care. One excuse was "oh my pitbull plays rough with this one fluffy husky" while that same dog not only went and hurt my dog but 3 others dogs within a span of 30 minutes (sweet pitbull but not so sweet toward unaltered dogs). Another incidence is there is a normal dog Walker who brings 7-8 dogs, all but two are friendly. The two that aren't pick fights with others. All in all this park has it's great times! But with certain people, it isn't great....
Read morePeople are hesitate to dog parks these days, even myself, but I have to say this park is great. Mature crowd of owners & dog etiquette is best. Plenty of parking provided on each side of the area(Small/Large dog section) with a 2 step gate entryway. The space in both sections is massive giving your dog immense freedom. Doggo bags are provided with trash cans spaced throughout the area along with a water dispenser at the entry. A unique feature to this place is that it is so big, if you have a leashed doggo you are trying to socialize/train, it's the perfect place to practice. As a person that doesn't engage so much into dog parks, this park always does it for me! Highly recommend visiting with your doggo's!
Side note: Another unique feature is that outside the park area is a open space field, only encouraged if your dog is...
