The thought of a water front skate park is cool, but you will not get the Venice feeling here. Its located along the San Diego river about a mile from the outlet in to the ocean. But you won't see it from within the park. Now the park; The park is pretty much all vert. No street obstacles can be found here, so if you like street more than vert, like me, this is not the park for you. Most of the obstacles were not completed with coping, and through the damage of the years, most edges are not grindable with trucks only slides and stalls. The distance between walls in the big bowl are so far apart that you'll find time to read the newspaper, fart, or even start a new hobby before you reach the next wall. Don't take up scootering in this time! There are 2 more bowls with a spine transfer dividing them. The park clearly state's that this is for skate boards, but you'll still find some pretty thuggish looking bmx riders here. I saw more bikes than skateboards in my 5 min of being here. There was no street so i left! If you're...

Very cool "hidden gem" in San Diego (in my opinion). Let it be known I'm not a skater and the Robb Field Park is fairly large especially considering it's location but the skate park looks pretty cool, to me. Usually on weekday afternoons and often even weekend days there are scores of young people (very young i.e. lower-middle school) involved in various soccer activities. There are also tennis courts, baseball diamonds and a "running/walking" path along the canal. Seems to have ample parking. I have been there during various day parts when it's very busy and when there are no more than 5 cars in the extensive lot. That being said, if you're not involved in said "soccer activities" I'd suggest looking elsewhere to enjoy the outdoors if it's a weekday between the hours of 3-7pm. That entire area is very hectic during that time. They do have multiple bathroom facilities as well. As always, make sure to do your homework, checking weather and real-time traffic conditions,...

🏆 Legendary Status 🏆 This place is truly iconic in the skate world! It's been featured in countless skate/BMX videos and magazines over the years, making it something of a hallowed ground for enthusiasts.

🌊 Perfect for All Levels 🌊 What makes Robb Field special is how it caters to everyone. If you're just starting out and learning the basics, there are plenty of forgiving sections to practice on. But if you're an advanced rider looking to push your limits, the park offers challenging features that won't disappoint.

💫 Community Vibes 💫 The atmosphere here is always energetic with skaters and BMX riders of all ages sharing the space. There's always something to learn or someone pulling off impressive tricks that inspire you.

🌴 OB Classic 🌴 Located in Ocean Beach, the park has that classic San Diego feel that makes it even more special. The location adds to its charm and makes for a...

Great place if you traveling or if you are a local even better as it’s usually around 10am empty with maybe 3 other persons… there’s some homeless people but respectful you don’t bother them they will not bother you. There’s so many bowls i am super happy I found the perfect wave for my smoothstar! Also noticed bikers come around and they are great to see also some very good skateboarders! Overall great experience!

This park has so much potential, the skate elements are nice except for the graffiti. Pray you never have to use the bathrooms here (pictured) - this park is one of the most poorly maintained we have ever been to (and we travel around the country full time). The whole park feels dirty and abandoned.
