Beautiful views of the ocean and sea life. Although there are signs posted to watch where you walk and not to cliff dive, there are still those "tourons" that can't follow directions. There are many seals, sea lions, and pelicans scattered throughout the area. The Jolla Cove is visible from the cliffs, more "tourons" wanting to swim next to sea lions.

This point seems ideally suited to bird nesting. The cliffside is pocked with holes and nooks for nests. I saw a huge population of Heron and Pelican, (and also gulls) in and around the area. There is a sea cave ("Smugglers Sea Cave") under the roosting area, which I believe can be accessed but I only saw the outside.

Excellent coastal views and a stunning atmosphere! Perfect for watching the birds and marine life. The area tends to get missed because tourists rather gather on the opposite side. If stepping onto the rocks, one needs to be careful, of course. Very peaceful spot for nature lovers.
