The Sea Cave in La Jolla is such a fun and unique experience! The walk down the 145 steps through the tunnel feels like a little adventure, and the view at the bottom is absolutely worth it—waves crashing, sunlight streaming in, and a secret peek at the ocean from inside the cliffs. The staff at The Cave Store were super friendly, making the whole visit even better. A must-do in La Jolla for anyone who loves history, nature, and a bit of mystery!

Loved every second on the Sea Cave from both underneath and the view from the cliffs and gardens above! It is definitely worth the wait and fee to enter and see it all for yourself. Saw a ton of sea lions from the cliffs up top and even saw one sleeping down in the cave. The steps are wet and can be slick so proper footwear is definitely recommended because it's not a short walk down and back up the steps.

Here’s what you’ll spot at this iconic coastal hangout: 🦭 Sea lions snoozing and barking like crazy 🐦 Pelicans & nesting Brandt’s Cormorants 🤿 snorkeling opportunity with the sea lions 🚿 Outdoor showers + restrooms up the steps 🚗 Free 3-hour street parking—if you can find it! 🌡 Water’s cold year-round, so bring a wetsuit plus snorkel gear

went on second date here. he made me pay 14 bucks for a lame view. he was complaining that he had ptsd from being born and he kept embarrassing me by hitting the old man walk. he didn’t have any altercations with the squirrels this time though so i think we are making progress 😊. i would give it 0.5 stars but it gets extra points only because i was...
