What a joke of a place and managers there are useless after they get your money. They will call you the day you owe them money but not when there is an issue. Run they want your money and will blame you what ever problem you encounter. Rosland decided to call my son a lier a week after his banquet got smoked out by other guests breaking the contract by launching fireworks. He lost his last hour of pictures dancing and most of important the send off. All these things he cant get back or replaced. So after no one called him back sunday and monday they answered on tuesday. He heard nothing until finally getting ahold of Roslyn on Saturday. No customer service to let him know what was going on and roslyn calls him a lier.

Roslyn expected people to act rational when people think the building is on fire. She accused him of not calling that night when he was making sure guests were ok. 150 people is a lot to keep safe. Roslyn claimed nothing can be done about it that they werent reliable for anything because its public property. THERE ARE NO CAMERAS THERE AND THEY CANT ENFORCE THERE CONTRACTS. ALSO MAKE SURE THEY HAVE LIABILITY TO. After Roslyn told him to piss off cuz there was no proof he had vendors and guest call in. These women lied to people saying they spoke to him about it and the truth no one spoke to him. These women kept claiming they were waiting for another boss to come back. So after all the bs they caused and my sons wedding getting ruined they gave him back 500. HOW DOES THIS MAKE UP FOR THE MEMORIES HE DIDNT GET TO MAKE. THESE WOMEN COULDNT EVEN SAY SORRY. IF YOU RENT A ROOM HERE YOU CAN DO WHAT EVER YOU WANT THERE ARE NO CAMERAS AND SECURITY IS A JOKE. No money can make up what he lost and they dont...

When planning our wedding, my husband and I were looking for something that was beautiful and EASY, and we found exactly that with Marina Village. We planned a wedding for April 2020 at Marina Village in the Bay View room, and had a wonderful experience with planning. Pricing and requirements were completely up front and transparent, and the staff were a delight to work with. The rules around timing, vendors, and on-site restrictions are beyond generous, and gave us the freedom and flexibility to really have a wedding that was exactly what we wanted but easily stay within our budget. AND it's BYOB (with insured bartender), which is so hard to find in San Diego! AAAND they offer free overnight parking for guests, and a 15% discount on room blocks at The Dana down the street.

Unfortunately due to the county-wide lockdown for COVID-19 two weeks before our wedding, we had to completely cancel all of our plans last minute. Marina Village was not only completely open in communication and empathetic in a time that must have been so difficult for their business, but they also gave us a 100% refund even though we had already paid in full. They did not have to be this gracious and understanding, and plenty of other wedding vendors/venues did not respond in the same manner.

We want to thank the entire staff at Marina Village for being so wonderful to us throughout the entire planning process. We ended up eloping, but we hope to hire Marina Village again for many celebrations to come, and will recommend them with the highest regards to all of...

My husband and I came to check out the venues in person since we currently don't live here due to our military background. When we first entered, the lady that was there was very helpful and gave us a map to checkout the different rooms they have to offer. She was close to the reception area. Then the second time around as I wanted to ask questions the receptionist had the most unwelcoming attitude of trying to rush us out. Also she had no eye contact to show us that she cared about our questions and it seemed like we were bothering her to answer us. She also gave off the vibe that she didn't want to be there. Luckily the other lady won us over to come back but the manager should speak to the receptionist and have her customer service be reevaluated, if she wants to draw in new customers to your facility. As a professional human resource background worker, that was just a disturbing and unwelcoming experience to have if you are trying to collect new business. After that experience of shopping for a wedding venue which should be a fun experience, that receptionist totally killed the atmosphere of a joyful day. Thank you...
