I went there earlier for the later band. It was my first time and not sure if i would go back. I paid the cover charge and sat somewhere near fire with a menu on the table to order in a bit. I had a book to read b4 it gets dark and to do sth useful b4 the band begins. Before 5pm, what seemed as 2 groups of people came to sat on both sides which i would not have any problems. One side, she sat on the table and when i said this is my menu and i would like to order, she threw the menu away. The waiter/check-in guy had to repeatedly tell these people not to sit on the table! Then another lady, on the other side as i am reading my book, says u should not write in your book! Then she says of course not my business. I confirmed that it is not her business as she stated and that it is my book. She continued.. she said i would tell my children not to write in the book, i said well, good students write or mark their book and i said I am a professor. There were several other pressure and stressful behavior in the sitting area, one almost sat on my purse which would break my glasses, another touching my book and purse...on january first so much unnecessary aggressiveness... no i wouldnt go there unless i have a guard or protection and i will not recommend it. There are regulars apparently who behave like a gang. I kept positive attitude, danced at my spot, but w the fear of losing my seat, didnt walk away to order food or dance w others. Respecting personal space and privacy would be good and the least expected. I did not save any other seat, just where i was sitting was not safe. They did all kinds of gesture, and pressure to make me...
Read morePretty quiet night. About 10 people during the 6-7pm hour. Not encouraging. The location isn't really near other venues or restaurants or attractions.
There is no one to meet you at the entrance. You kind of grab a menu, seat yourself and then go to the bar to order. The kitchen closes at 7pm. We were the only ones inside in the bar area. When I ordered my food they made me pay up front including the "tip" before I had anything to tip for (hadn't received any service yet). When did a tip become a tax rather than a "tip" or "gratuity" for service well performed? Just say'n...
The live music was decent though I felt bad he was playing to an almost non-existent crowd. See video. There is a stage, multiple drums, baby grand, string bass and sone ither instruments.
We received our food which was alright. I posted a pic of the menu. Irritated that they served my main meal first followed by my appetizer.
Bar food made up of appetizers, tacos, burritos, hot dogs, some rice bowls (including one for your dog if you want to order one), sanwiches and burgers and of course there is the drink menu.
3 stars for pre-payment of food and tip, poor service overall and serving my...
Read moreIf I could rate this place a -10 I would. I had an extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable encounter when I was entering the restaurant. We were rudely approached by the "bouncer" guy who sits out front when we asked if we could go in. He rudely said "bikes over there" without saying anything else. After placing our bikes where they belonged, I walked in with a backpack on my back and an empty cup in the side pocket. The bouncer walked up behind me, GRABBED MY BAG AND THE CUP OUT OF IT and said it wasn't allowed in here. DO NOT EVER GRAB A WOMAN FROM BEHIND AND DO NOT EVER GRAB A PERSONAL ITEM FROM SOMEONE. He easily could have told us not to bring that item in instead of grabbing me. I WILL NEVER SUPPORT A RESTAURANT WITH EMPLOYEES LIKE THAT. This is a terrible place, do not waste your time here. They really should rethink who they hire and maybe hiring professional and...
