I got my nails done August 7th and by August 8th the chrome already came off and black was showing underneath. I asked the technician Helen initially to not use black because I was afraid this could happen and she assured me it would be fine. The next day when I was on my trip out of the city, the chrome came off, showing black on my nails. I come back the next week after my trip to get them redone already confirming I would come in at 5pm and I get a text at 4:53pm asking if they could push it to later because theyâre running behind. Iâm 5 minutes away. I end up waiting 15 minutes past my appointment time for a different technician just for her to botch my nails. Inserting all the photos here. It sucks having this turned on myself because âI didnât want to waitâ for my technician. I wasnât even told this till after an after the new tech finished. Mind you I saw my first tech the whole time up until I finished working on someone else? đ I asked if I can just get a refund for the $25 design and $15 chrome and she said no because itâs not in their policy. At this point I just want it done right, my refund and to go somewhere else get these taken off. Iâm then told I can wait 1 hour to get my OG tech to redo it. This is the 3rd time. I leave 35 minutes away driving over an hour each time payed $55 for a fill + $25 design + 15+ chromeâŚ$95 + tip over an hour car rides here + 5 hours in the salon total. Just to do a design Iâve had done before at this exact studio which is why Iâm confused as to why theyâre making excuses about my nails having to be good enough? When prior they never chipped and I loved them so much I wanted to get them again. Iâve been coming here for 2+ years and have brought over 5+ friend to get pedicures, my boyfriend twice, and referred friends who have gone here after my recommendation. Itâs seriously so disappointing to be treated like this and to have everyone upset with you the customer when youâre paying over $100 for a service thatâs supposed to be relaxing, fun and self care.

I politely asked the manicurist if she would make sure to paint as close to my cuticles so that it didnât leave such a wide gap. I mentioned this with the first coat and the response I got was âoh itâs just the first coat im not done yetâ to then end up with the same exact thing I did not want. Upon finishing and telling her I was unhappy with how far the gel was from the cuticle, I was then told that this is how it should be done so that it doesnât peel off? Again Iâve had my nails done several times and this never happens. Im never rude, even in situations like this so I politely say okay, I did ask specifically for the polish to be closer but thank you. Then when it comes to paying the manager asks if everything was okay and what happened, so I tell him and his excuse is that she couldnât see well enough and he even mentioned that he had heard me ask for her to paint closerâŚ?? he then gave me the business card with names of other nail technicians who could do what I had asked for next time???? He also proceeds to give me a 10% discount for a service he knew I was as unhappy with.. one that was clearly their mistake. Again, I am not rude and I was running late for work so I leave it alone.
