I am deeply disappointed with the level of care and compassion my dog received at this clinic. When I brought him in, he was clearly in distress. He was walking in circles, unstable, and showing neurological signs that were linked to his pituitary gland issue, which this vet had previously diagnosed. Instead of addressing the urgent, obvious issue with his health, the vet insisted we go ahead with an expensive surgery to remove a foreign object from his stomach. This foreign object had been previously evaluated just four months earlier, and the vet had assured me it was not the main concern at that time and had no bearing on his pituitary gland issues.
It felt like the clinic was more focused on upselling an unnecessary surgery than on truly addressing the pressing problem. My dog was in clear pain, and it was upsetting to see that the vet did not seem to prioritize his well-being over financial gain. To make matters worse, the front desk staff was rude and dismissive when we questioned why this surgery was being so heavily pushed before even exploring the neurological symptoms he was exhibiting.
Thankfully, we found another vet who was incredibly compassionate and honest with us. They took the time to explain what was happening with my dogâs condition and how the issues he was facing were related to his pituitary gland. They showed such care when discussing our options and helped us make the difficult decision to lay our dog to rest after weeks of discomfort.
Had this initial clinic been more sensitive to our situation and more focused on my dogâs quality of life, he would not have suffered as much during his final days. I will never return to this office, and I would not recommend it to anyone who is seeking genuine care and empathy...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would. This has been nothing short of a hellish experience. I brought my cat in months ago for vomiting, diarrhea and constant crying. They told me she probably has food allergies and sent me home. I brought her in again after changing her food with the same issues. The male vet told me she is a âproblem childâ and I will probably have to deal with her having issues, and sent me home. I came in a third time and he said I should go to a specialist. They NEVER asked to see her stool or do any testing. Just âgo to a specialist because her teeth are probably the issueâ with no info to back up that claim, and sent me on my way. I made an appt with a dental specialist, and $3,300 later, was informed that her teeth are not the issue. I went back to the vet, this time with a stool sample and made them test it. I was told she probably doesnât have any parasites/they wonât find anything in the stool.
Well, guess what. She has not one, but TWO parasites that are wreaking havoc on her insides. I am absolutely appalled at the lack of competence from this clinic. If an animal comes in who is showing signs of illness, TESTING IS APPROPRIATE. They NEVER offered to do any testing. Itâs pure negligence and I urge everyone to reconsider going here if you love your animal.
I never received an apology. They never admitted to being at fault for sending me away repeatedly when they should have taken care of my girl.
I will never get over this and I hope they read this review and are ashamed. Absolute and...
Read moreIf no stars were an option I would give this place just that. My Dog went in for a spay. During the consultation the vet asked about removing the lovely fluffy fur from near my dogs ears where it had become a little matted. I said no do not touch it (once a month i do quite the process and work really hard to re-fluff all her hair). The Vet said okay.
When we picked up our dog fur had been clipped for the surgery in the belly area, perfect. But then she had 3 legs shaved (how many ivs does the do need?) a large patch of her chest was shaved, the back of her neck/ shoulders, her ears and randomly half of her face was missing fur. I shall try to post pictures but picture no hair in these areas... on a dog with 3 inch fur.
All the vet would do is say sorry. She admitted to saying she wouldn't clip the dog. Also the clippings yielded no signs of hots spots or wounds... duh we know and care for our dog.
I have never seen my spouse so pissed. They gave us a free bottle of shampoo. Next day we went back and got all medical records for both our dogs... Then the head vet called and said she would pay for any grooming to the animals. No thanks, never touch our dogs. Too late for your sorry damage control. You should have cared in the first place.
I would say compare this to hiring a Landscaper. He decides to chop down your front yard tire swing tree because it might grow to close to the side walk or cast shade on other plants... Um no thanks it is my worry. Your not...
