Great place to visit anytime of the week. It gets busy on the weekends. It's a part of old San Diego. There are some free museums you can just walk in to and visit. Lots of shops like a magic store, cigar lounge, Wells Fargo Museum, restaurants and more. Pet friendly around the plaza. Some of the museum's will not let in pets such as the Seeley Stable Museum. Not sure why because one as able to carry my dog into the Whaley House. Besides that, it is great. Perfect for pictures with the family or just a walk. The Seeley Stable Museum is free to enter and so is the Wells Fargo Museum. The trolley station is a 2 minute walking distance. Parking can be a little difficult if you go on the weekends but it is free. They have some benches where you can sit down and relax. There will be some vendors there that sell paintings and figurines. Outside of that our a few good restaurants I recommend such as Rockin Baja, Fred's (pet friendly in the patio area) Cafe coyote and Miguels. Visit the Whaley House which is $10 fee ( 8 for military and seniors) which is a documented haunted house. It is beautiful inside. The staff will provide you with a tour if they are...
