The guy who works nights and is from east county is great! I think he's the only good employee they have. As far as the people who work in the morning are unprofessional and just flat out rude. I made a reservation online for one night and check in went great (checked in at 7-8pm). Around 8am, my sister who lives in Alabama paid for the very last double bed room, she book through Agoda and on the app you can make a booking for someone else (she has done this for me in the past) well she said she typed in my name and info but then exited the screen in order to get her card number from her banking app and when she went back to the agonda app the page reloaded but she didn't think to scroll up and check that my info was still entered. So she paid for it, sent me the confirmation number and I called the office and let them know. To my surprise, I was greeted by an unpleasant, unprofessional, rude male employee who said I did not have a reservation and needed to be out of the room by 11 or the cops would called. I was a little taken back because I didn't know what I did to receive this type of treatment so I went down to the office to try and sort it out, while in the office I called my sister and found out that she accidentally made it under her name, the male employee confirmed the reservation for her name and I asked what I needed to do to fix this mistake. I reached out to agonda customer service, they said no problem, they can update the name but it will take 30-45 mins since they had to send an email to a 3rd party to get confirmation, then email the property to get confirmation and then they would email me to confirm everything was good. They male employee said he would give me the 45 mins. 20 mins later and it is now 11am, he calls the room phone saying he still hasn't received anything showing that it was switched in my name and I need to come wait in the office until this is resolved so I said ok and walk into the office and he's gone and the female employee told me he just left to go to my room to supervise the removal of myself and my things. Confused I walked back to my room to find the door opened and my guest packing in a panic. He then told me, I would not be aloud back at 3pm to check in nor would they issue a refund. I was shocked at how this accidental situation that was easily solvable (with a little bit of time) was handled. I WILL NEVER RETURN HERE! & THE ROOMS ARE REMODELING BUT THEY HAVE NOTHING IN THE ROOMS, IT LOOKS EMPTY AND PLAIN. NO WHERE TO HANG CLOTHES. I PLAN TO REPORT THIS TO MANAGEMENT. Never in my life have I ever been treated so poorly, especially when I'm a paying customer and communicated throughout the whole mishap. I would suggest going anywhere besides here unless you want to get your money/deposit taken from you for...

RUN AS FAR AWAY FROM IT AS YOU CAN. We booked through Booking.com (who by the way was just as difficult to deal with as the hotel, totally unacceptable for a platform that accepts bookings and payment on behalf of a 3rd party) to stay 5th - 8th February, 3 nights. Upon confirming the booking AND payment we received a message advising the hotel was under going some renovations - this was not mentioned on the booking website anywhere, you're only informed once you've booked and paid. ||We arrived at the hotel, the noise and ongoing renovations was terrible and unacceptable. We contacted the hotel via Booking.com advising we were not happy about the noise and building works and requested to cancel the remaining 2 nights, I've attached the response we received from Comfort Inn Seaworld - it is rude, sarcastic and so far from providing good customer service that it is beyond belief. "Unfortunately, we aren’t mind readers, so we had no way of knowing you were considering booking with us in advance to personally notify you about the renovations. However, we did inform your husband upon check-in and have already discussed options with him. If he chooses not to stay for the next two nights, he will need to check out by 11 AM tomorrow morning, and we will refund the remaining amount accordingly." ||We advised Comfort Inn that we would check out by 11am the next day and thanked them for the offer to refund the 2 nights - IF ONLY IT WAS AS EASY AS THAT!! We departed the hotel at 10.45am (showed Booking.com and Comfort Inn proof of this by way of an UBER receipt), the reception was unable to provide an invoice when we departed due to the supposed refund. So here we are 6 weeks later and still no refund, I cannot tell you how many emails and messages have gone back and forth between Booking.com, Comfort Inn and myself. The lies that Comfort Inn continue to tell - it's been refunded to Booking.com - IT HASN'T. They have not and will not refund the 2 nights accommodation even though they have continually promised to refund, told us it has been refunded to Booking.com, told us no it won't be and then again accused Booking.com of lies.||My suggestion here - don't book at this poorly run - under renovation mess of a hotel. There are so many other options to stay that have a pleasant and polite staff that don't lie, renovation free and...
Read moreDISLIKES ABOUT HOTEL: There's no breakfast, there's no coffee maker, microwave, TV channels didn't all work due to connection problems, the pillows are all flat, hard and uncomfortable (bring a few of your own) the beds feels like cheap springy beds that hurt my back, the carpets feels kind of sticky like they never get thoroughly cleaned with a carpet cleaner every so often. It can be loud-ish mostly from crazy neighbors and the freeway nearby. The room always feels muggy and had a weird smell. The maid service seems good. Also cigarette and MJ smell would strongly waft in from neighboring rooms so get an air freshener. I don't think the rooms were sanitized because door handles and the remote (common touch places) felt grimy and I would constantly find myself waking my hands or avoiding touching until I did my own sanation. I also didn't like that there is do much homeless hanging about when we walked around trying to get from the hotel to Starbucks etc but that's only if you walk through. Also be sure your fridge works properly because I'm not sure how cold a min fridge is suppose to get but I feel like mine would be colder at one time and completely not cold another and made me question if my food tasted spoiled... (I would of personally lined to of brought a mini thermometer to store in there) If you plan to do laundry bring it get a stack of quarters for the machine because they don't have a change dispenser nor a laundry soap dispenser.
LIKES: It's not a bas far away location from the beach though it is next to a strip club... It's near lots of stores/restaurants like Target, Ross, dollar tree and Starbucks, Denny's etc. It's also next to Old Town Transit station, bus stops & an Amtrak station within walking distance if you prefer. The staff is okay though can be moody depending on who's working. They usually helped with every question and request we made like to fix the remote and help crack a window. I stayed 7 days but I don't think I would come back because a Super 8 or The Heritage INN had more amenities to offer for a...
