San Diego River bisects the San Diego area. It runs East to West and empties in to the Pacific Ocean. There are a number of parks, bike trails, and other public amenities dotted all along. The reason I rate a 3 out of 5 is because of the amount of garbage and human waste. The entire length of this river must have high levels of e. coli. I'm not trying to ruin the party, just saying... Aside from all that, there is also a lot of history in the area. If you find yourself in the area, its worth visiting.

It’s nice if you want to get some nature therapy and good photos. I just wish people would wake the “F” up and stop trashing the environment though. The Earth is an extension of our bodies and a living organism. Just as every single individual cell of our bodies creates one of us, the trillions of organisms, including us, makes up one of her, the Earth.

Very peaceful and beautiful place. Watching the birds and the wind on the water create a sense of serenity. The sun rise in the morning or the sunset are equally facinating to observe. The trails alongside the banks are vast comfortable to Travers either upon a bicycle or walking hand in hand with the one you care about. One of my favorite places is towards the delta where the river meets the ocean. Enjoy your time along the...
