My husband was at this hotel October 02, 2023 and the hotel staff meaning pacifically security over night staff who represents the Hotel itself. He got off of work to be approached by the security staff who doesn’t wear uniforms they’re all wearing black T-shirts. Does not introduce themselves upon contact and tells my husband he’s trespassing because they identify him as being a homeless transient. He was looking for his room and was doing what we all do! Look for your room right but no they can’t even offer help! You see a person at 11:15 pm and the first training on hospitality is a he’s a transient? No investigation by seeing if he may be a guess and he may be lost, or maybe he’s looking to check in because he has a reservation. Poor quality staffing, and the hotel is to be blamed, 100% for hiring, a poor security company like Omni security who can’t train their staff on basic hospitality, rules and regulations. The reasoning they gave him was because he has all black clothing on just like they do, and the most important identification that makes him a transient person is backpacks! Omni security guards told him that this hotel has a very huge problem with the Homless patrons. They told him that they been there breaking into vehicles, rooms and more so that is why the treated him not as a guest but a transient! Omni security can’t even provide security uniforms to their security officers but they did give them target toy badges! Not a joke really lol this is who the Wyndham has protecting its guess but don’t carry a backpack. You won’t be guest but identified as a transient a homeless person because the new rule is only the homeless can carry backpacks. Now the question! why is the hotel dealing with a poor security company who represents them in a bad light? This was all report and I personally don’t think the hotel staff cares about this. Justin operations manager has never contacted my husband about any updates on the situation. The GM who ever that maybe has never contacted him after he sent a email to Justin with a statement of concern. What dose that mean! No accountability that’s what that means. The GM can’t do his job and the operation manager well truth be told I heard nice things but in the end a follow up would have been nice!

I was supposed to stay at a hotel that was $270 a night for a conference and evidently did not make the booking, so I had to scramble to find a hotel that was within the $270 budget and was relatively close to where the conference would be held. This location appealed to me because of how close it was to the conference location, as well as how close it was to other locations such as Target, Ralph's, and local food places. When we came to check in, there was a pretty long line. Merica helped us check in and was super nice! We also got to pick where our room was, so I thought that was pretty neat. We chose the third floor. We stayed here for six nights and we had a mini-fridge and a microwave, which was great. The beds were very comfortable and the A/C worked very well. Housekeeping was great and came in every day that we didn't have our "do not disturb" sign on the door. I will say that this location was interesting because it was gated, and it seems that the reason for that is to keep some of the local people out. I was reimbursed for this trip, otherwise, I think I would have been unhappy with the parking fee, lack of breakfast, and lack of amenities (pool, gym, etc.). Our ice machine did not work, and I tried another one that did not work as well. As someone who loves ice water, this was a pretty sad revelation for me. The elevators were also very... rickety. Some of the buttons lit up while others did not, and my partner noticed that the one we rode in to get to our room did not have any sort of inspection on it. Check-out was very smooth and my deposit was returned to me in whole. Overall, I think that this place is a good location and good price for the area, but I would probably try to find something with more amenities before I came back here again.

I had to make a quick turn around trip to San Diego frm Arizona w/a friend & our 2 kids. I found this hotel online & it was close to where we needed to be, offered hot breakfast, & seemed clean & spacious. I booked directly through the hotel website. No 3rd party. I booked the 2 queen bed w/sofa bed deluxe room. When we showed up a @5:30pm to check in we were given a room w/no sofa bed. I called & asked about this & was told they didn't have any of the 2 queen room w/a sofa available. I then asked if this was still considered a deluxe room because that's what I paid for. She said yes & offered to take off the $20 nightly parking for the inconvenience. Something I found out later never happened. When we walked up to our room we noticed the room right next door to us had 2 Queens & a sofa like I was supposed to get. My teenage son didn't want to share a bed w/his mom & that's what we were forced to do because the front office basically lied to me. I'd also like to note that that room next to us remained vacant the entire time we stayed. My next issue happened in the morning. We noticed the map we were given didnt have any info about the hot breakfast. So, we called down to the office to get the breakfast information. The phone rang so much that it kicked me to a busy signal 4x. Finally, I sent my son down to inquire & he was told they don't offer hot breakfast. That is totally misleading information since it is listed on the website under hotel amenities. As a mom traveling w/2 kids this was a major selling point & I would have NEVER booked here had I known the info online was wrong. My third problem happened when I asked about check out & the late check out options. The maps that gets handed to all customers says check out is at 12. I attempted to call down to the office about 5x, again having it ring so long that it kicked me to a busy signal each time. I went down to the office to get the info I wanted & to hopefully get a late check out since we were all a little beat from the turn around trip. The girl told me the best she could do was 11:30. I told her the maps say check out is 12 & even showed her the map, from the stack of maps she had on the counter that she hands out to everyone. She shrugged me off & pointed to a sign in the lobby with a paper taped over the original plaque saying check out is 11am. After much discussion, & arguing, w/her about how its not my problem that the information they give their customers is wrong & she needs to honor what was given to me she basically told me that if I was still in the room after 11:30, I would be charged a second day automatically. She had ZERO care to make me, a paying customer, happy at all. I wasnt even in the hotel for a full 24hours! She had a nasty attitude to every person she was interacting w/& just kept saying that she wasnt the manager & they were off until Mon. She did provide me a card w/the managers email. I did send an email, & no response yet. Finally, when I went to check out, @11:30am, & was given my receipt, I saw that the parking charge wasnt removed. When I brought this up the girl again said that this wasnt her problem & that I could contact the manager on Mon. This is totally unacceptable customer service & not the way anyone should be running a business @ all. All in all, I am not @ all happy w/my stay & very disappointed that no attempts were made to remedy anything done wrong. The only positive things I can say about this place is that the room we did get was clean & had good space for the 4 of us & the location is good. I look forward to a response from management, but after everything I have seen from this company I will not hold my breath. Pictures below are of the stack of maps they have on the front desk w/check out time listed as 12pm. Screenshot of their website showing hot breakfast available under hotel amenities. Picture of front desk girl who had no care about people or her job (side note: I took the picture of her on the phone because I was shocked to see she actually does answer it after all my...

In all my years of traveling and staying in hotels, from Italy to Spain to London to Egypt, etc., and to backwoods cites in Arizona and Utah-- I've never in my life received such poor treatment and disrespect in any establishment. Not only is the staff extremely unkind, they are beyond unhelpful and unprofessional. I arrived at 1am after a long five hour drive, only to be greeted by the sight of a hotel unlike what I'd thought I had booked. This looked like a motel. Ugly yellow/tan stucco walls, with a foul smell, prehistoric elevators, and a crammed parking lot. Calling it a hotel is generous... I could've gotten far more amenities and better treatment for the same prices elsewhere. Upon entering the hotel lobby around 1:30am, I was in fact not greeted by the rude large islander man sitting at the front desk. I greeted him and was met with coldness from the first instance. He told me he had to charge me an $100 deposit, when there was no mention of it prior, but I did not argue or put up a fuss, as I get the need for a deposit. He then began telling us there was a $20 a night parking fee, and if we did not park it, our car would be towed immediately. So we paid. He took it out of our deposit, so we were then left with a $60 remaining deposit. We then get our keys, after he explains to me with a map, circling things left and right and talking down to me like an idiot when I would asked to have certain things clarified. The elevator did not work! My friend was handicapped! We waddled back to the hotel lobby in the freezing, and asked kindly for a new room, and once again he began explaining the directions aggressively and like I was an idiot.

So, as you can see, bad taste in my mouth from the jump. The day we were meant to check out, we were quite confused about the checkout time, because it had not been anywhere! Not on the room things or table, not even on the hotel card packet. At 12:45-1pm, a security guard came up to our room, and kept locking loudly. He then unlocked the door and came in while we were undressed and began to practically yell about how we missed check out time and to call the front office so we would not be charged the late fee. Calling the front office only lead to a terrible discussing with the terrible supervisor named JUSTIN. Rude and cut the phone off in my face. Would not budge with me when explaining that things were much harder, as I was doing everything and my disabled friend. He said he was charging the fee regardless, and told me "this conversation is not going anywhere." Then cut off. When I tried to discuss the lack of info regarding the checkout time and how his security guard told me they would not charge a fee, he insinuated I was a liar.

I quickly put together the things of myself and my handicapped friend so that would get out of there. 10 minutes later, they sent up a locksmith to come open the door...? When we'd told them we'd be down in 20-30 minutes. The late fee had already been charged. The locksmith was the only kind person, and apologized on his co-workers; his name was Ezra. The manager then calls twenty minutes later 1:26pm telling us that we are not down by 1:30pm, another late fee would be charged. Just extortion at its finest. He said as a "courtesy" (lol) he'd give us until 1:40. I asked for 1:45pm and he agreed. We got down there and I handed him the key and left. This place sucks, and the staff needs to be fired and replaced immediately.

The walls are so thin, you can hear the people in the next room snoring loudly. No exaggeration. The elevators are scary, feel like they're about to break at any moment. I could go on and on and on, but I will leave it here.

DO NOT BOOK AT THIS DECEPTIVE AND...

All Right! I stayed here for 49 days on business so I believe my review may have some legitimacy. I stayed in one of their King Suites. TLDR: Not a bad hotel, not a good one either, short term stay is okay. Long term stay is a definite no! GOOD: Conveniently located near everything you might need! The staff was super friendly and helpful with everything… yes that is about it. BAD: Biggest thing that really bothered me was that my room door had a gap, you could see daylight through the door and frame, most likely why there were a few bugs every now and again (nothing serious, just a few flying insects and 2 spiders). You are in Cali... but the smell of weed was almost constant! 9am. sure. 9pm. why not? If you are trying to avoid that scene, I would not recommend this hotel. The cleaning schedule was completely random and a little infuriating at times. Sometimes they would try coming at 8am on a Saturday, other times they would come at 7pm on a Tuesday, just completely random and unpredictable. Even if they were in the room next to yours, you are actually not next, and they’ll get to you in a few hours. Although they were super friendly, some of the cleaning staff spoke ZERO English. Made it difficult just trying to tell them I do not want service, or to just take the trash. During my stay there was also a disturbance in one of the buildings, not sure what happened but police sirens and everything happening late at night were a nuisance. The location is great for everything you might need but that also means you are exposed to the shenanigans that happen on Sports Arena BLVD and Midway Drive, lots of sirens, lots of loud cars / motorcycles every night. The noise in general was just a pain, rooms adjoined the outside area so anyone hanging outside talking, walking (yes, you could hear people walking and even feel like steps laying in your bed at night), cars, you name it, you can hear it! Parking!!! Absolutely terrible! First, its $20 a day, let me repeat that $20 A DAY!!!!!…. Yes… besides that, the parking spaces are terribly small, even for Cali standards. If you have a large vehicle, good luck! The microwave also sucks, super underpowered and small. Internet speeds are lacking if you require a steady connection or faster speeds, I was only getting about 10Mbps on a good day. The weekends are SUPER busy at this hotel, no parking available and lots of noise. On the note of weekends, it seems when the hotel is busy during peak hours that the hot water cannot keep up and you may have to take a cold shower. Laundry is available but also costs $1.50 for washing and $1.25 for drying. Hope this helps someone making a...
