This Thai spot operates out of a ghost kitchen, so it’s a small setup—don’t expect a dine-in experience. Just call them when you arrive, and they’ll come out to take your order. The service is super friendly and personal!
We tried the crab wontons, crispy pork basil, and drunken noodles. Everything was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We asked for mild to medium spice, and it was just right—not overpowering, but with a nice kick.
It’s a husband-and-wife team running the place, and you can really taste the love and care they put into each dish. Since they’re a small operation, the food might take a little time, but it’s absolutely worth the wait. Prices are very reasonable too.
Highly recommend for a late-night Thai craving, especially if you’re near the airport or Old Town!
Sorry, no pictures—we were so hungry after our flight that we ate everything before we even thought of...
Read moreSuch a hidden gem of a restaurant! I was a little bit confused by the google description, wasn’t sure if they had dining-in option, but when I got to there it was such a clean and bright space, with lots of room to dine in! The food was fantastic, the waitress was Thai and when I asked her for recommendations of spice levels for pad Thai, she said the level five is “Thai level spice” so the food was very authentic! I’ve visited Bangkok and Phuket, and this SD Thai restaurant totally matched the authentic Thai flavours as if I was in Thailand. I recommend the pork belly curry, lemongrass chicken wings were cooked to perfection, the combination pad Thai was very yummy as well, with lots of protein. The portions were very big, enough to share around. We left them a generous tip in the end for the fabulous meal that was totally beyond our expectations! Would...
Read moreDelicious food! I love supporting small local businesses, and this one is a new favorite.
The setup is simple, you submit your order online, and they walk it out to you. You can eat there if you like, but it's not set up with a traditional dining room (you'll get it once you see it). Still, the food feels homemade with love and is a wonderful option when I can't quite face cooking for myself.
The owner is very warm and pleasant. My husband and I particularly enjoy the drunken noodles, Pad See Eiw, and Thai tea, but I want to try everything on the menu. Definitely...
