Nicholas provided my precious little one with an amazing cut- going from long curls to a short, amazing cut, offering the same precision any adult would want. That is just the beginning however. My child has had a deep desire to have their hair cut for some time now. Being from NYC, I have always kept my hair care there- even with the pandemic. So, when my child wanted this cut, I searched high and low not only for someone with good reviews, but people who had a genuine sense of care for others that, in part, brought them to the point of honing their expertise to such an extent that they are able to offer expression on the outside of what is truly on the inside- the manifestation of which can change as often and as much as we do (hopefully) as people who are evolving and becoming more and more ourselves over time. This is truly a gift. My child left feeling and looking more themself than perhaps when an infant. (I hope that makes sense.) Nicholas- thank you for your generosity and empathy. You went out of your way to make yourself available during a time when my child could no longer wait for their external expression of themself to be more closely aligned with their internal experience and self-concept. You understood, treated T with such dignity- connecting as two people and not just as an adult and child. T knew and felt this and was so very at ease. I am more grateful than I can say. Your touch literally carries them through the world with a different experience- one more closely aligned with their essence and therefore with shoulders all the more cut consistently back, chin all the more up, and heart all the more to the sun (as T would say). We look forward to being back in August. Sending wishes for good days and nights ahead, continued success, good health and endless peace...

Yesterday, I got the haircut I have been wanting for years. No, it is not quarantine talk nor me trying to help out a local business — Nicholas exceeded my expectations above and beyond.

The salon is easy to locate , very clean. Nick and Norman are very responsible with scheduling, taking temperatures, and using sanitization.

Once I sat down, it did take much explanation for Nick to understand my needs, considering it was my first time, I was surprise by how easy to communicate.

All the products were top tier. And don’t worry, there was absolutely no awkward pushy sale moment occurring.

One hour flew by, I was shocked how happy I was with the cut. Nicholas’ profound understanding of structure and texture gave me the perfect haircut for me that I didn’t know exist.

At the moment I was worried that I might not be able to style the same way on my own.

But, the best part is— after I took the shower this morning I followed Nick’s tips and ! BOOM ! — looking great the day after !!!

Will bring my husband for a cut with Norman ~ And of course, cannot wait to see more of...

Having just moved to San Diego I was on a serious mission to find my dream stylist. I did a lot of homework and was delighted when I found Sweet Janes website, something about the vibe and imagery caught my attention immediately. I couldn't have been more pleased when arriving at the Salon and met the owners/stylists. The vibe not only matched the website, but took it to the next level! These guys are absolutely delightful. Hours passed like minutes in fun and wonderful conversation as they worked their Magic on my hair. Norman assisted Nicholas, the colorist, by helping with foils. An adorable dynamic duo! And the color Nicholas created is so natural, and so pretty. Nicholas also did my cut. It's one of those cuts that every time I look in the mirror I can see an aspect of how his expertise is making my hair behave differently, and better than it typically does. I love that! It also feels really creative, clearly not just your basic hair cut. Nicolas is clearly a master of his art. The pride these two to have taken in designing a beautiful, inspiring Salon, and in making sure their customers are thrilled... you'll be hard pressed to find a better Salon...
