The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints — Attraction in San Diego

I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! I grew up going to this church and truth be told, it has kept me going! It doesn't matter where I have traveled to, or what country I find myself in...if I feel homesick I go to church...also known as the Mormons I find instant family. The people in this world are so amazing and beautiful! I often feel so alone. I am a 57 year old woman. I have no children. I have been married, but that ended years ago. My family lives far from me and they are busy, but at least they live close to each other! When I feel like this I have to take action. I can stay alone, and fall further into despair and depression....or walk into one of our churches. I make one phone call and the next thing I know, the 20 something young and sparkling beautiful young women missionaries will meet me at my home or a park or anywhere! On Sundays, I go to the nearest church walk in and I am surrounded by people who are my new family! Instantly, I am no longer alone. Come visit us the next time you feel alone! My friend's dad's funeral was in the meetinghouse. The ward supplied the lunch afterwards, but they asked my friend's family to pay for the meat. His dad was a full tithe payer. Really?
