Corner Kebab — Attraction in San Fernando

Well, it was okay. I actually wanted to give it three stars, but like my students, an a student deserves to be graded accordingly, and this is an A-caliber restaurant according to the reviews here.

The interior of the restaurant and the Ambiance was good. I would give it four out of five stars. Maybe four and a half. it had real tables including some larger ones for larger groups.

Now, about the food. I got the corner Kebab combo, or whatever they call it. It's the one with chicken Kabab, steak Kabob, and two sides. I got hummus and that tomato cucumber salad. Everything was pretty good quality, but a little bit blah. very plain flavors. Beats were definitely juicy and fresh, but I can't say they were the best I've eaten. I think I'm comparing this to the Kebab place I've eaten at in downtown LA Clara guys show up on a bicycle and deliver Styrofoam boxes to businesses around there. That's my standard. This one didn't fully live up to my expectations. Not bad though. I'd give it another try. I think they need some sauce or something for their kabobs. Something to dip the pieces in. All they had was lemon oh, and I found myself using the bread like a tortilla and scooping up some hummus with my chicken. Little tacos. I haven't done that at any other Kebab shops.

Delicious food in an inviting place. Armin, the owner takes pride in his business and it shows. An island of quality and conscientious food that is yet unmatched in the food desert that is Sylmar. Treat yourself to healthy, fresh, and reasonably priced food. But also come to experience good old fashioned friendliness and neighborliness.

The quality of the service and food is above the normal small dining establishment experience. That coupled with Armin's quiet but welcoming demeanor makes this a gem in a part of town that sadly lack both in variety and quality in choices of restaurants. This place is a standout. The kebab here are delicious. I was finally able to try this place for lunch and it did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly and polite with us. My wife and I came here after her doctor appointment because it's in the same plaza.

My wife got the chicken kebab plate with hummus and macaroni. I got the beef lule kebab plate with Shirazi and French fries. They make it fresh right when you order so it can take a couple of minutes. We are our food inside of the place so they brought our dish out to us.
