It is easy to recommend the classes at the Alliance Française de San Francisco as they are high quality, enriching, and fun. Plus, I can take the classes from where I live in Texas. My teachers aim to keep as much as possible of the class in French, which can be challenging at times, but is certainly the optimal learning experience. Additional material is provided between classes through emails and an online system, providing exercises which review and amplify the class presentations. The other students are also enjoyable and have positive attitudes. The administrative staff as well as the teachers are agreeable and dedicated to helping us learn the French language. Starting as a complete beginner, they've helped me achieve a B1 level & certification. I highly recommend giving them a try, as they offer both in-person and online classes to accommodate your schedule.
