Very interesting and underappreciated piece of San Francisco’s history. Sure, it’s not on the top 10 list of attractions to see in San Francisco but it’s worth visiting if you live here and care about the origins of the city. You can see and imagine people living there even before the 49ers. Plus there are many cute...

Nice short walk in the nature and learning about what life was like in the 1800s

This is a nice little baby trail loop. Signs along the path puts such a nice narrative showing what life was like 200 years ago… definitely fun to imagine while soaking in all the amenities and life...

Despite having Handicapped parking, this is not ADA-friendly. The unpaved trail leaving from the parking lot is too rough and too much of a slope to be able to push a regular wheelchair along the trail.
