Gigi’s Bed & Breakfast — Attraction in San Francisco

Gigi's Bed and Breakfast is a delightful suite in a perfect location within easy walking distance to Ocean Beach, The Cliff House, Land's End Park trails, Golden Gate Park, and has easy access down Geary by car or bus to downtown. The back garden is a lovely oasis on a sunny afternoon. Gigi delivers breakfast every morning at 8:00 (or an earlier pre-arranged time, if you are rushing to the airport or to a tee-time at one of the nearby golf courses). Access from SFO is easy by way of I-380 to I-280 north, then Highway 1 south to Skyline Blvd (Highway 35) north to the Great Highway along Ocean Beach, so busy traffic into downtown by way of Highway 101 can be completely avoided. Street parking is free but could be a bit of a challenge with a large vehicle. We would love to return to Gigi's B and B to visit many of the sites and trails that we weren't able to get to...

I live in San Francisco and needed time away from my (wonderful and exhausting) kiddos and am SO happy I found Gigi's. Gigi is a wonderful host - caring, flexible, helpful, and just so kind. The breakfast was delicious (I'm still thinking about it) and I adored the space. Comfy bed, cozy living room where I read / wrote / watched VHS tapes of hers, a large bathroom, and the garden outside was lovely to sit in the sun with a book. Location wise - you have some of the best views and walks right from her doorstep. I hiked/walked through Lands End both days and grabbed tasty dinner at the many restos on Balboa. For tourists, you can also take the bus down Geary and get downtown really easily.

It was exactly the peaceful getaway I was looking for and I am already planning my next stay....

Gigi’s place is incredible!! It’s location is just 3 miles from the Golden Gate Bridge. She is 2 blocks from the bus stop and 2 blocks from a laundromat. Her breakfast starts with a large thermos of coffee followed by fresh fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice, yogurt and a different type of bread or croissant each day. Our family LOVED staying here. Her bathroom is roomy, everything works perfectly, great water pressure, can’t be happier. This place has everything you need. GiGi has a very clean, neat home with a beautiful little back patio area. Parking is available on the street, but you’ll have to find the right spot and maybe walk a little.
