I never went to a parking garage before, especially in different states and country. I went there twice, first time I went there I followed the GPS from iPhone & give me the directions would be need to going up hill was very steep compare to my original city (Reno, NV), and made me scared that I thinking my car would be going backward if I was not careful. And I almost hit pedestrians due to there was a stop sign, which I know I would be stoping, but I keep pushed the accelerator due to going up hill in the very steep road and finally stop on the half way of the cross walk. so be ready to go there need to get around with those kind of roads.
When you when in there, there will be a machine that let you push the flash white bottom to get the little pass that include your driver's plate on it. The little barrier will be open for you to let you go in. Then, you need to go around to find any opening parking spot to park your car. Please remember where you park, your parking spot will have a number on the ground. This place will be have different entrance, I went there twice, I just discovered that so far I know will be 2 entrances and exits. So, when you go to the nearest exit with the still steps way to exit the parking garage, make sure you go toward up, not down. I think the steps way going down will be leading you going to basement or something. The step way were kind of small narrow. Make sure you keep the little ticket that you just get from the machine, because you need that to pay when you leave.
So, there were 2 ways to pay for your parking. 1st, will be you need to find the nearest kiosk. First, you need to inset your little card (ticket) when you go in and got it from the little kiosk machine. Putted into the kiosk, and it would calculate how much you need to pay for your parking. I think you can choose different languages. Because San Francisco has many diversity in that city. Feel free to choose the language that you want to operate the payment. Then you need to either pay with cash or card, or apple pay or android pay. After you complete the payment, you will have 15 minutes to go to find your car and get out of the garage. When you leave, you will see the kiosk by the exit, then putted your card into around the top left quarter area, and the little bar gate thing will raise, then you can leave.
The 2nd method would be, you can go get your car, follow the sign on the beams. One side will be entrance, other side will be exit. So, like the process you go in, when you go out, you will see the kiosk again, but little difference would be there was a little card insert thing around top left of the machine. Then you will put your ticket in there, and on the monitor on the middle right will show the amount you will pay for parking, then you can either tap and pay with Apple Pay or android pay, card, or cash. Then, the little bar will raise, then you leave.
The only thing I do not like this parking garage because in there, even thought they have light in there, but everything still feel dark. There have kind of lower level for the parking too, I did not went in there, but I saw some cars came out of there, it just kind of steep a little bit, and plus it's kind of in the middle of the parking garage, you need to watch the traffic when you get out from that lower level of the parking.
The 1st time I went, I got lucky I got the parking spot. I am come from Reno, NV. I woke up very early to get there, I thought it might be a lot of cars will be parking in there too, I think it will be located in the downtown area. So, I got there around 10:30 am. So, I found the parking spot. The 2nd time I went, I need to drive around, luckily I noticed that one of the car almost pull out, then I just wait for couple minutes, and no car behind me, so I was no worries to blocking the traffic flow. Then the car left, and I got the parking spot. This time I got there around 11 or 11:30 am. So, it's kind of late. When I was walking around to find the exit. I saw a lot of cars driving around to find the...
Read moreThis was Hana skin care 1610 post st. SF suite 100 Where do I start make a reservation week and a half before actual date got the recommendation from Groupon because of there reviews well I feel now there all fake the picture they have up on there website is nothing like what is there now looks like a large store room with sheets as dividers to make rooms separate. Nothing nice or elegant here . This was a spa day for me and my bff's 250 for massage facial and chocolate and champagne. Plus tip 60.00 we arrived 15 mins early they service champagne that was surprisedly very cold and descent barefoot brand the chocolate was nothing more but dollarstore individually wrapped pieces not even the best brand they carry a few bags of chips in a big brown basket Safeway flowers and lawn chairs with small card table in the corner outside the shop. The shop looked like it was a storage room everything was in disarray. They finally came out to get us and we all went into one room where we undressed together no robe no nothing. And jumped into bed that had no face holes so very uncomfortable. Our arms had to hang off the beds because the beds were too small to put by our side. And the beds felt like hard wood with blankets on them no cushion what so ever friends facials were not relaxing or soft they did it to fast and to much pressure the massages I give them a 4 out of 10 it was very repetitive in the same spot so it caused pain in few areas my bff couldn't get out of there fast enough I was totally disappointed my girls are hardworking and going through stressful times and I only made it worse. I was going to go back to complain but what was the point it's not like we would get our money back and we sure don't want to get another facial or massage. So no I don't recommend it I hated it most terrible place I went to. Wasted 310.00 plus my bff 100 for Uber to get there and back. Just disappointed that my friends had a bad experience but the brunch we had was amazing at la...
Read moreAs a history afficionado, I was thrilled to discover the Japantown Peace Plaza during a recent trip to San Francisco. Located in the heart of the charming Japantown neighborhood, this plaza is a testament to the enduring friendship between the United States and Japan, two countries that were once bitter enemies during World War II.
Upon arriving at the plaza, I was immediately struck by its beauty. The plaza is a peaceful and serene space, with a large central fountain surrounded by greenery and benches. It's the perfect spot to relax and take in the sights and sounds of Japantown.
But the Japantown Peace Plaza is more than just a pleasant place to sit and relax. It is also a powerful reminder of the transformative power of friendship and diplomacy. The plaza was built to commemorate the strong bond that has developed between the United States and Japan since the end of World War II, and serves as a symbol of the two countries' commitment to peace and mutual understanding.
As I explored the plaza, I couldn't help but think about the long and complicated history between the United States and Japan. From the brutal conflict of World War II to the current era of cooperation and friendship, the two countries have come a long way. The Japantown Peace Plaza is a testament to that journey and serves as a reminder of the importance of working towards a more peaceful and harmonious world.
In addition to its historical significance, the Japantown Peace Plaza is also a great spot to grab a bite to eat or indulge in a sweet treat. The plaza is surrounded by a wide range of excellent restaurants and dessert shops, offering something for every taste and budget.
Whether you're looking for a peaceful place to relax, a chance to experience history, or a tasty meal, the Japantown Peace Plaza is a must-visit destination. It's no wonder it has a 5 star rating and is considered one of the jewels of San Francisco. I highly recommend a visit to anyone passing...
