Cottage Row Mini Park — Attraction in San Francisco

Have been watching some inspired gardeners restoring, replanting, and upgrading this little park. It was a bit of a shock when trees were removed but there are so many thoughtful details: the tree stumps have been made into steps, and the flower/foliage beds have been protected with a low fence of bent willow ( think its willow).
