Here at the Japantown Cherry Blossom Festival. was given a pin:

“There is no I in Buddha”

Buddhism isn’t about self serving attempts to obligate a deity.

Buddhism seems to be about using today to make things better for everything and everyone.

The purpose of human life is to become the caretaker for all other forms of life.

Every other purpose becomes self destructive as a species.

In a Sequential Multiverse where underlying physics perpetually evolves; we diversely repeat. We are living in our perpetual afterlife.

Genesis3.org

Life we foster depends upon us; their resonating connections reinforces our future existence.

Stifle life, and we fade out of relevance.

Fail to foster sustainable diversity of life, and a global extinction ends human afterlife. No future afterlife for humans to explore in diverse existence.

Unlike the mind numbing torture of a useless eternal afterlife. Our actual afterlife depends upon fostering the vitality and spread of diverse life throughout the universe.

Awesome piece of architecture in Japantown. I came here recently after having lunch in the mall. It was a Saturday and in the plaza there was a group/band playing live music right under the Peace Pagoda. It was a great community event, lots of locals and tourists all gathered around to hear the band. This is also the area in which the Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival is held. A few years back groups of kendama players would meet here play together. With the great weather recently this is a great spot to...

This is a really fun place to visit. The Pagoda is very cool and at night it is lit up. There are cherry tries nearby that bloom in the spring and are beautiful. This is all surrounded by Japantown with many shops and restaurants. Very cool location and you could spend a day here with your family. Parking is on the street so you may have to drive a little before you find a spot. I also recommend that you stop by the Kinokuniya book store if you are making the trip. Stop and have some great food...

Visited here with my daughter who is 1/4 Japanese. Her father is half Japanese. His mom is from Fukuoka. While we were walking near this tower, I saw a guy that looked so much like my daughter’s deceased Uncle. Her father’s brother who passed when he was 30 years old. It was like he was checking in on his niece.
