KALEID Gallery — Attraction in San Jose

Today I tried to visit this gallery. I arrived at 12:00, the stated opening time but it was not open. Fine, many businesses need a few extra minutes to open. So I waited, and I waited, and I waited, and I waited, and I waited... Eventually I decided to go eat lunch. Afterwards, I returned but the gallery was still not open. Fortunately, Anno Domini was open down the street and I had a lovely time there. I returned to Kaleid nearly an hour after first arriving and it was still closed. This was a special trip I made downtown especially to visit this gallery. It was really hard for me to find the time to get there given their limited hours and I was upset and angry that I couldn't even set foot through the door. I am trying to buy art for my home and had high hopes for finding some works I like at Kaleid. Maybe something terrible happened, maybe there was some sort of technical problem, maybe, maybe, maybe... I just don't think I can bring myself to trying to visit again given their...

Wow! What a cool space! This is exactly what we were looking for: a gallery that celebrates and empowers local artists, filled to the brim with passion and love for art and people. Fernando at the front desk runs this place with so much respect, kindness and professionalism, he’s a true gem! We’re very happy to have found this place and were even lucky enough to walk away with a piece of art AND meet and chat with the artist! I highly recommend coming here and checking out the constantly changing exhibitions and interactive art pieces that are fun for folks...
