My partner and I finally had a chance to stop by at the start of April and oh boy, this place was a blast! We arrived a little after 6 pm, were told the suggested donation per person was $15 so we filled out the online form to do so and went on in. The ambiance was cool and the music was fantastic (we stayed through one group and for the start of another). I really liked the art, the lights strung all around, and the neon signs. But I will say, some of the handwritten signs on the very high menu boards in combination with the dim lighting makes for a tough time trying to read unless up close even for someone like myself with no vision impairments. Drinks and dinner are separate counters so we ordered food first: fried chicken, ribs, and mac & cheese to share. We both LOVED our food and drinks, but honestly felt like the mac & cheese was underwhelming and not worth the nine dollars. Noticed the crowd seemed to be on the older side, at least for the time we went on a Friday. The tables felt pretty close but finding seats was not an issue and we enjoyed the view of the stage from one of the high tables against the wall. Overall an awesome spot, hope to come again soon with friends (and earplugs for hearing-damage...

It's def a vibe! We went for the R & B brunch. DJ was great, played music from way back to some current stuff. Host put us right next to the dj and it was loud. We were moving closer to each other to try to hear each other's conversation. So if you plan to talk with your group and don't want to yell at each other, I'd sit outside or in the back. Outside was really nice with a cool breeze too, it got a little warm inside. Cool size bar, lots of different drinks, cocktails were $13 (not bad). There's a 2 for $15 mimosa deal and you go to the juice bar to add your choice of flavor, there were 5. (Strawberry lemonade, mango, peach, guava & OJ) Brunch menu has several choices. Classic eggs Benedict, good, only flaw was the most important, the hollandaise was way too runny, thicken that up and it's great. The chicken fried steak, good, maybe don't chop up the steak and ease up on the salt in the gravy. Others in our group ordered the jambalaya nachos, tacos and classic breakfasts, they said their meals were good. If we go back, it's probably...

We went to a Saturday brunch with a large party. The wait at the bar was 45 mins for 2 drinks and a shot. They only have two bartenders working but they both were slow, with the woman bartender using her long nails to grip the fruit to put into your drinks, or the man who moved slower than the 65 year old bartender at my job, who by the way can move the line. This so called bartender who apparently has so much experience can not keep up with a normal amount of customers. I can't be a judge on the food because by the time I even got the drinks, my food had been sitting at my table for 25 mins and it was cold and as hard as a rock. The bathrooms are so dirty. In the woman's bathroom it smelled like a combination of pee, poop and vomit and their was a pile of toilet paper with poop on it sitting on the bathroom floor.

The music was good and it caters to a 30 to 50 year old crowd. Honestly, this business needs to do better. Slow slow slow for everything. Highly disappointed with our experience and will not be...
