The splash pad is nice if kept clean by the kids and their parents. The park is an absolute let down. It is dirty and unsafe for kids to be walking on barefooted after being on the splash pad. I wish I got a picture of the broken glass bottle that I found later while investigating. There is also lovely graffiti written and drawn around the park area… There was a woman passing out popsicles and the kids just threw their wrappers on the ground. ALL OVER. It’s just a shame to see a nice park be treated like this. If people want nice things then they need to teach their children to pick up after themselves and to take care of public property. My son really enjoyed the musical area, which projected a lovely sound! Overall - we won’t be traveling here much to say the least. We will venture to a more cleaner and safer splash pad...

Kids don’t bring suits to the park and parents don’t want their kids to get wet if they won’t be able to get dried off so most kids don’t feel comfortable disrespecting their parents instructions because they would like to return to the splash pad/park. City can make this happen or at the very least contract to have the addition built. Solar panels, efficient bulbs, strong construction & low/minimal maintenance/ no fee for use at public splash park, health and wellness management concern....
Read moreNice grassy park split into three triangular sections divided by and surrounded by some very busy roadways. These park areas are not fenced in. One section has a very nice water pad for kids to enjoy on hot summer days. Also with benches for sitting and large grass area. Across the street the next section accommodate a play area with swings, slides, and climbing obstacles. Also with benches and picnic table. The third section across another street is a children's baseball- softball field with a backstop and large grass area. All three park areas do have some big shade trees. Free on street parking only. No parking lot. This is just one set of Sandusky's famous triangular parks here for everyone to use and...
