On Sunday, September 8th my family drove 40 minutes to Sandusky to attend an antique boat/car show at the Paper District Marina that was sponsored by the Maritime Museum. There was NO BOAT/CAR SHOW.... Professional printed signage was posted by the restroom area at the Dockside Cafe/Marina on a locked board.... I emailed the museum on Sunday, 9-8-19, my disappointment... I realize they are on winter hours and not open until Tuesdays, but here it is Thursday, 9-12-19, afternoon and I have not yet received a reply to why was this posted if there was no show?? We were there for the presentation & demonstration of the Sandusky Coal Docks scale model. Much info on Sandusky role in maritime history, but plenty info on Great Lakes boating, shipping, warfare, ship building, ice harvesting and fishing. The thing is that other group behind us received the introduction and instructions. (We were almost together)… the worst thing is that we said hello and they didn’t. reply anything.
