We had a candle making party here Friday night. It was SO. FUN! It’s a must do!!! Very reasonably priced and I made 2 amazing candles in really pretty glass jars. They have a huge variety of scents and Ashley and Leila were so helpful giving opinions and suggestions to pair. The selection of glass to pour out candles in was great. The charcuterie board and wine was included which was amazing. It was homey, fun, and Ashley and Alliyah were so fun to hang with!! Highly recommend. You can also book them to travel, for larger events, for small nights out, anything! Or, which I will be doing, you can drop in anytime for $10 plus the price of your jar and pour your own candle.

The shop is so cute. It’s downtown and very accessible. No longer wasting my money on any big box store candles. The candles we made and purchased here were 100% soy wax, no additives, burns clean (no black soot), and so reasonably priced.

I recently visited a candle shop for my friend's bachelorette party, and it was an outstanding experience. The highlight was the "build your own candle" activity, where we crafted our candles from scratch. The staff were incredibly helpful, funny, and went above and beyond to make our visit special. They even provided a generous charcuterie board and wine, with so much food that we took a lot home. The shop itself was beautiful and had a vast array of scents and materials to choose from. The staff guided us through each step of the candle-making process, ensuring we had a fantastic time. The prices were unbeatable, making it worth the drive for either a "make and take" experience or just shopping their amazing selection. I have been a fan of Island Sham Farmhouse since the beginning, when it all started as a dream in a little kitchen. I receive a monthly subscription box and always add more to the box before it is shipped. Julia is amazing and is eager to listen to opinions and input regarding seasonal scents and new products. Unfortunately, I live out of state and have been unable to attend a candle party, but I am always there in spirit. In addition, these are now the only wax melts and candles that I burn in my home. No other brand can even compare (Sorry Martha Stewart, not even yours). I will forever be a fan and...
