My boyfriend and I decided to check this store out on a whim. We went in, and it was so claustrophobic we could hardly move. Piles of stuff everywhere, things thrown callously in huge piles. It was definitely giving hoarder energy.
The worst part though is that when we finally found something we liked after sifting through things for 30 minutes, we took it up front to purchase and was immediately told (very rudely) by the shop owner “Not for sale!” That’s it, that’s all she said. No attempt at an apology, or even a reasoning. Just a very rude acclamation in our direction, “NOT FOR SALE!” I’m not even sure she made eye contact with us honestly.
We would have appreciated the item being marked so we didn’t get our hopes up, or even at least some understanding/apology from who we presume was the owner. Part of antiquing is the joy you get when you find the perfect thing. My partner was so excited to buy this piece, just to be rudely shut down. Definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. Safe to say we...
Read moreThe owner who has short bleach blond hair is very rude. The other woman that was working with short brown hair is also dishonest. Took my grandfather here to purchase some hot wheels all the way from Massachusetts. The first time we visited they told him a super high price for the hot wheels that he picked out that we’re not priced at the moment. A week later he decided that he wanted to try again because he really liked the hot wheels that he found. So we went in and he noticed that they were priced at five dollars a piece. He gave them to a lady working there and she came back with the price stickers all changed around. They told us higher prices for the hot wheels and accused us of changing the stickers. she continued to yell in our faces and be extremely disrespectful to my 83-year-old grandfather. I wish I could give zero stars if I could. DO NOT STEP FOOT IN THIS PLACE. She deserves no business for her...
Read moreAwful experience!! After finding a beautiful vase at a great price, took it up to the register to purchase and she rung it up. However she kept saying "something isn't right", then looked up the item on her computer and turned her computer around to show me the fact that she was selling the vase for exactly what they paid for it ,and she couldn't possibly do that. She further explained that they had a salesperson who mismarked items and had since been fired. She refused to honor the price on the ticket and said she would have to sell it for at least $40, and we walked out. It's a shame to loose potential return customers over $25 - will...
