Read moreThis was SUCH a disappointing experience. We arrived on time for our reservation and were told the table was not ready yet. We then said okay no problem we will go to the bar and the host said “no the bar is full, you cannot go there”. Leaving my entire party to stand in a tiny hallway by the entrance when we would have waited in the bar (and bought drinks $$) 15 minutes later, our table was ready. We sat down and tried to tell the server right away how to split our checks as we know 12 is a lot to deal with. Her response was “I have gold fish brain so you are going to have to tell me that later”.. we ordered drinks, they took 15+ minutes (the old fashioneds were horrible.. no one ordered second rounds), appetizers were quick but then our server disappeared and we didn’t get our entree orders in for another 30 mins. When we finally did get our food, the quality was not great. Overcooked pork chops, cold potatoes.. just underwhelming. It was my 30th birthday so naturally towards the end of the meal a friend said “hey! It’s her birthday could we sing or have ice cream for her?” The server responded “ uhh we don’t do that” my friend was in shock and said so you don’t have a desert for her? She responded “eh she doesn’t look like she would like our desserts anyways” it was very strange and awkward for me. Our checks then took another 30 minutes. Overall I picked this restaurant because I was told it was the best. For a first time guest, I hate to say I will not be back. I understand being busy, but this was just careless service. For a $160+ check per couple, and being a Non needy table just trying to celebrate, the least you could do is acknowledge the birthday and be prepared for a...
