Sanford, FL — Attraction in Sanford

Scenic location, great for kids and families. The park in this area is awesome, huge and large variety great for kids of all ages. Featuring a large splash pad, I think there may be a nominal $2-$3 entry fee. You can park your vehicle, walk around and enjoy lunch at the local pizza shop. Sit by the beautiful pier/docks while enjoying the waterfront & breeze. Great for pictures as well, particularly when the flowers are in bloom during Spring/Summer. There is also a boat river tour, which I believe serves lunch and dinner. Recommend this area for families. We spent the day with the McBickers in downtown Sanford and we had such fun. Between the shops and the market there was lots to see and do. Be sure to check out the water front area and all the unique shops. My favorite spot was the Jeanine Taylor Folk Art Gallery, the Gallery on First, Magpies Store and the Hollerbach’s various shops and restaurant.
