This place sucks. They sell hundreds of tickets to people, who may or may not resell them, knowing full well they aren't going to honor said tickets at the door. Why? Because rules! Rules you can't point to anywhere, rules that were changed 2 days ago. Well, we saw the rule change- buried on their website they said the game is limited to 25% capacity, but you would be allowed entry if you were a season ticket holder/certain number of students, etc. So there we were with season tickets and vax cards in our hand, denied entry the day of the event. Why do you sell tickets knowing you aren't going to honor them even though according to the policy change they are valid? The manager of sales was towing the party line behind the concrete and glass. He was definitely not honoring the tickets sold. People even asked "at halftime can you see if the stadium is at 25% capacity and then allow us entry then"? Nope! Why was this rolled out on such short notice, with no notification other than a blog post on your website? Why are these rules being imposed with such short notice contrary to county policy? Why aren't you honoring season tickets when even the rule change says you would? Why are you selling season tickets to anyone knowing you will change the rules at the last minute and deny entry to ticket holders, even if they fall within the rule change?...
Read moreI've been fortunate to attend various significant events at the Leavey Center, from President Sullivan's inauguration to the Centennial gala for the Leavey Business School.
Whether it's enjoying an inauguration, hosted dinners or cheering for our basketball and volleyball teams, the addition of the new scoreboard is a fantastic upgrade.
The center's cool architecture and comfortable seating makes it an excellent venue for sports and major events. Having visited other private schools, Santa Clara University's athletic facilities stand out, offering ample parking and a welcoming environment for visitors.
As an alum, I might be a bit partial, but the campus is undeniably gorgeous...
Read moreAt $20 per vehicle, the parking was too expensive, in my opinion. The parking attendants weren't very knowledgeable about the security we could expect for that kind of money. The campus safety guy who was hanging out there didn't seem to want to come out of the booth, seemed like he was being bothered. The stadium itself was fine, new-ish looking, with no shortage of security guards overseeing everything...
