Starbucks — Restaurant in Santa Clara

Absolutely ridiculous. Two of us visited, I mobile ordered and the other ordered at the counter. One of the two drinks in my mobile order came out in reasonable time, the other didn't come out for another 15 minutes. They claimed they were out of skinny mocha sauce and had to make more. I'm not a barista but I'm pretty sure that isn't something made in house. The girl at the register didn't know how to enter a Caramel Cocoa Cluster Frappuccino even though it's in the system. Multiple other people had to go back up to the counter because their drinks were made wrong, someone else also had to wait forever for a mobile order, and yet another had issues ordering at the register. It seemed nobody in the store had be smooth experience. Just to top it off the store was crowded and there were four employees behind the counter, but only one was making drinks while the others were having a nice conversation. Staff is great; management make me want to vomit. I unintentionally overheard the unbelievably patronizing way the manager lectured an employee (who was doing a fine job) about “customer connection.” I had to suppress an actual shudder. I just want my coffee. I’m not trying to make a new best friend. I can’t even imagine how awful an environment this must be to work in. The energy in this store is like “white suburban mom” cranked up to 11. Truly feel for the minimum wage employees that have to suffer being micromanaged by Karens. If I had an option of ZERO, that would be my choice!! Every time I give them the benefit of the doubt because I literally work in the same parking lot. I get interrogated for asking why I order in a bigger cup size, she practically almost spills my drink when giving it to me, and finally when I taste it, it's disgusting. Taste's like there's a cigarette butt in my cup!! Way to waste $4. Word to the wise, go to the Alameda location across from Ike's!!! They know what Customer Service is, always have a Smile when you walk in, and THEIR Coffee is AWESOME...
