After attending many, many, MANY birthday parties over the last 3 years at Scooter's Jungle, my daughter begged for her own party to be held here. We were already impressed with what we had seen during other parties, so we, of course, agreed to it. And we are SO glad we did! My daughter's 7th birthday party was just tonight, and I was so impressed with the entire event that I had to hop on my computer as soon as we got home to sing the praises of Scooter's Jungle. Everything is SO organized that the whole process, from booking the party all the way down to wrapping up the party at the end, is stress free. Every detail of the party is gone over with the party host several times throughout the process, and I loved it. I have a hard time letting go of control when it comes to something like this, but the staff at Scooter's Jungle made it easy for me to hand over the reins on this one! Steven greeted us and got everyone signed in and ready to hit the party in the Ultimate Arena. I can't say enough about how pumped Steven got the kids, and he interacted with all of the party-goers, and made everyone feel very welcome. The kids LOVED him. I think he may have more energy than some of our little guests! He was all over the room, keeping the kids entertained. Bravo, Steven. You rock! Also, total unimportant side note, but he looks like Stephen Baldwin. I thought it was awesome. You might think so too. ;) After a fantastic time playing in the Ultimate Arena, and I say fantastic because I spent ALOT of time on the huge slide right alongside the 6 and 7 year olds, so I KNOW it was fan-freaking-tastic...we were ushered into the dining room to have pizza and cupcakes. Before the transition, again, everything was verified with me before our guests were let in. I loved this part because I took a lot of time making specific kitty-themed items to decorate the tables, etc and I wanted a say in what the room would look like. It was perfect! Dom took care of us in the dining room, and he is just as awesome as Steven. He interacted with our guests with ease, and made my daughter feel extra special. His service with the kids and their food and beverage wants/needs was ON POINT. And bless him for putting up with a few of our young guests sticking pink and purple frosting on him - SORRY, Dom! He took it like a champ though. In the end, the party was perfect. Totally worth the price, and stress of trying to get people to ACTUALLY RSVP. I can positively say that we will be holding another birthday party here soon, because now my 5 year old son wants his birthday party here in May. Overall, great experience and I HIGHLY recommend this as a venue for your next party. I'm 32 and want my next...
Read moreMy toddler, husband and I went in yesterday to their open “all ages” time slot. This was our first time there so we had no idea what to expect. We were greeted by a very friendly young man. We signed our waiver and went and paid the $21 dollars for the hour and a half session. Then walked over to the designated play area that was open. After being there all of 5 mins, we quickly realized this session wasn’t for “all ages.” We have a 14 month old who almost got trampled on in I guess what is supposedly the “toddler” area but all ages can go in the area. We quickly realized this was not what we expected and decided to leave. On our way out I explained to the gentleman that this wasn’t going to work today and we’d have to come back. (which we don’t plan to do after this experience) Moving forward, the employees should let parents with little ones who have never been there before look at the “all ages” space before paying to see if it works with their child. We were about to make it out of the door when the friendly gentleman asked us to wait for a second. He clearly was trying to see if we could get a voucher or do something kind for us since we literally just walked in and then had to walk out due to safety concerns for my little one. He went to talk to a girl in the snacks check out area who had a big attitude with him and she clearly didn’t care about her job. She looked miserable. He came back to us and said there was nothing he could do in a very polite fashion and that was the end of it. To the owners, if you are going to list open times on your website that say for “all ages” you better have a safe place for those under 3. The little cubicle in the main area with two play kitchens, 2 toy cars, a push toy and bigger kids running all around in it isn’t it. I could see how this place could be fun for big kids (although to me, it seemed dirty and dark) but not little ones unless you go to a designated toddler time they apparently have although I have yet to see a date pop up. We took a chance checking this place out and boy was the whole experience a disappointment. We will be going to other play places recommended in the SCV mom group that actually care about their customers experience and not a quick buck. But at least the gentleman was super kind to us. If I were him, I’d get a job somewhere else that appreciates his kindness and isn’t going to have other employees be rude to him in front of guests or not. He should be...
Read moreI had my son's 6th birthday here and Scooter's Jungle did an amazing job. The place was clean, organized and did a great job with the overall event. We booked the Wild Village Arena and the kids all seemed to have a great time. Carson was our event coordinator pre-event and went over all the details in advance and was super friendly. Alejandro was there with us during the playtime and Hunter made sure the food was all set up. If you want a place where you don't have to worry and can enjoy the party, then this is a great place. I recommend bringing extra water bottles as you are not able to buy extras at the venue. However, they will provide plastic water pitchers that they will fill for your guests use.
Update: I changed my review from a 5 star to a 4 star as we had another child's birthday here recently and while the party went very well for reasons indicated above, there were also some details that could have been better. For example, the Bluetooth sound system in the room we reserved was not working and we needed to bring in our own Bluetooth speakers. The set up in the food room was not as ideal given some small details overlooked which would help the party run smoother. Examples include: 1) the sparkling waters I brought were left in the box and the box remained unopened. Since we are not allowed coolers for safety purposes, I did not open the drink packaging as it was easier to carry in. 2) Serving utensils I brought were not out. I had to put the some utensils in myself i.e. for the salad dressing. 3) napkins were not placed on the tables 4) cake cutting was a little slow and we helped to pass out cake. I think it would have been useful to have an additional person helping in the food area. Yes I could have done this all myself, however it was all done for me the first time around at a previous event.
Overall the kids had a wonderful time and I would book...
